Detective Darcy took my 10yo granddaughter and I under her wing and worked with us to help us become full-fledged detectives! She showed us wonderful hidden gems in the city and was very knowledgeable. We greatly enjoyed the tour, and my granddaughter enjoyed Darcy so much, she gave her a hug at the end of the tour!

Fantastic walking tour led by the wonderful Darcy, suitably attired in Tartan Detectives Tam O Shanter and Gannex Mac,complete with Steampunk Handbag containing her Magnifying Glass. The tour was beautifully paced and structured, albeit being very friendly and informal, with the components and evidences on the tour being seamlessly flowing into each other.I'll be doing it again, along with the other tour they do, The Witches one.Thankyou very much Darcy. Edinburgh’s history is fascinating but walking down the Royal Mile without a good guide and one would miss numerous intriguing stories. Dorsy was an excellent guide. Our group was small so it was possible to have an on-going discussion with her for the complete two hours. Wonderful!

We met our tour guide Katie Clue, and it was just us and another couple so nice and intimate. The tour kind of has an inspector/clues type theme to it which I found quite refreshing from just a normal tour. Our tour guide was lovely, I think you could tell she was maybe a bit nervous to start but she had lots of info and even if she did get it wrong we wouldn't know 😅 The fudge was absolutely beautiful! We actually went back after the tour and bought some! The tour covered quite a few little hidden things along the royal mile that you wouldn't think to look twice at but had a little history behind it which was nice to learn about.

We are along the High Street and Royal Mile towards Holyrood Palace. With cool detours to places we certainly wouldn't have found. It was a lot of fun. (Also the fudge... mjam)

I would like to shout out to the world how much I enjoyed my tour with Darcie today. Even though I know Edinburgh quite well, she showed me so many new places and told me fantastic stories that I love this very special city even more than I ever have. Thank you so much for this great experience! All the best, Sonja from Geemany

Initially, we had a difficult time finding our tour guide, Darcy. This tour is on foot. You will walk around some of the historical “landmarks “ and listen to information regarding them. We received sample chocolates and then purchased some. If you’re a history person, you would enjoy this short tour. Maybe the guides should wear clothing that represents the company so they can be easily identified.
