Embark on a true Scottish adventure with our 3-day tour small group tour to Skye from Edinburgh. Journey through the magnificent Scottish Highlands, before arriving on the mystical Isle of Skye. Enjoy a full day exploring the island's most beautiful spots, before travelling back down to Edinburgh via the most photographed castle in Scotland, Eilean Donan.
Choose between single, double, or no accommodation at time of booking and travel by air-conditioned coach throughout your journey.
This tour can be booked with accommodation included or without. Accommodation options include: hostel, B&B, or hotel. If choosing to book your own accommodation, please ensure it is within 2km of Portree town centre.

Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark.

This tour can be booked with accommodation included or without. If booking your own accommodation, it must be within 2km of Portree town centre.
Luggage is restricted to one medium sized suitcase per person. For guidance: a medium sized suitcase is considered 60-69cm high and roughly 45cm in width. Luggage storage facilities operated by a third-party are available in Edinburgh.
Please note: from 22nd December to 1st February 2025, Eilean Donan Castle will be closed. We will still stop at the castle for photos and access to the bridge will be available. However, the Visitor Centre and toilet facilities will be closed.

What To Expect
Travel from Edinburgh to Portree
Luss Pier
From Edinburgh our Isle of Skye tour will head west to collect our Glasgow passengers* and then make our first stop on this Skye tour at the picturesque conservation village of Luss, on the ‘Bonny, Bonny’ banks of Loch Lomond.
Glencoe Lochan
Travelling north via Tyndrum we pass over the atmospheric Rannoch Moor before enjoying time to walk and admire the dramatic Glencoe, site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald Clan.

5.00Start to finish, Scott brought us on a fantastic journey through the highlands, the Isle of Skye and so many lochs, twists, turns, and hidden gems all along the way! The weather was challenging but made for an even more interesting, beautiful trip. Scott’s tales and great stories about history - plus his all Scottish (or Scottish adjacent ;)) playlist kept us entertained. We were booked at a nice accommodation in Portree for two nights, and were very comfortable the entire trip. We recommend it highly!

5.00While some tours give you a driver, Timberbush gave us a guide, Andrew T is an authentic Scotsman & very knowledgeable on a variety of subjects, well beyond the sites. But as far as that goes, he knew of many amazing places to take our group.
