My best friend and I took the 3 day tour with our amazing guide, Mark. He was so knowledgeable, an amazing story teller, and very funny. We were able to see so much of the beautiful Scottish countryside and we learned all about the history and folklore. The seats on the bus were a bit squished and it would've been more comfortable with a bit more leg room, I'm pretty short and I still felt it so I can only imagine for the tall people. Highly highly recommend this trip, I hope to return to the isles soon!

An unforgettable and magical experience I had on this 3 day Tour from Timberbush. Our guide - Jim, was wonderful, witty and extremely helpful and friendly. I must say the guide makes or breaks a tour. Full marks to Jim. The itinerary is well designed with stay in Portree instead of other places as some other providers do. Highly recommend this tour!!

We recently booked a three-day tour through the website timberbushtours.com to explore the Highlands of Scotland. Together with other travelers and our amazing guide Neil, we left behind beautiful Edinburgh to venture into wilder, untouched landscapes and reach our first destination — the Isle of Skye. Neil lived up to all expectations: always attentive and available to the group, he made the journey truly enjoyable by sharing stories about Scotland’s history, fascinating insights into local culture, and many anecdotes about everyday Scottish life. Along the way, we made several stops to visit some of the most typical and iconic places in the Highlands. During the three days, we explored historic sites such as the dramatic valley of Glencoe, the Museum of Ancient Scottish Villages, the stunning castles of Eilean Donan and Dunvegan, the historic Talisker Distillery, and the famous Loch Ness. We also visited the charming town of Portree, the impressive rock formations of the Old Man of Storr, and the breathtaking Kilt Rock waterfall. The Scottish Highlands deserve several days to be fully appreciated — for their magnificent nature, the friendly Hairy Coos, and the countless sheep grazing across vast green meadows. You encounter many lakes, hills, mountains, and endless stretches of fields and forests painted in autumn colors. Our eyes often sparkled with emotion at the sheer beauty we were lucky enough to witness. We would like to thank Neil for showing us this part of Scotland with such passion and professionalism. We highly recommend booking through timberbushtours.com to plan your trip and enjoy the expertise and friendliness of guides like Neil. Thank you so much — we hope to be back soon! Cindy and Lorenzo

Wow! The 3-day Isle of Skye/Scottish Highlands tour was fantastic, even better than expected. Our driver Neil was accommodating, patient, and engaging. We worried about being stuck in a van for long hours during the tour, but Neil gave us frequent breaks and time for sightseeing. During the drives, he regaled us with stories of Scottish history and lore while expertly negotiating the sometimes narrow roads. I'd say Neil was unflappable, but that paints too stern a picture. I've seen many landscapes, but none as breathtaking as the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye. Donvegan Castle was a highlight, and and we learned so much about scotch whisky. Come for the sights, the sounds, and the stories. There's so much to enjoy!

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide, Jada, was a lot of fun and showed us some beautiful stops that weren't necessarily on the original itinerary. Advice to potential travelers: you will spend a LOT of time on the bus/van on day 1, but it's worth it, and you'll do much more seeing and much less traveling on day 2.

Amazing experience! The guide Alan was very nice and very kind. Prepared on every detail, he was a great driver and a perfect companion to let us discover Skye and the Highlands. My sister fell and stained all her pants, and the next day Alan surprised us: he returned our washed pants! A gesture of extreme kindness. I absolutely recommend this company, both for the beauty of the tour, complete and interesting, both for the professionalism of the guides. You will see so many wonderful places! If you can, I suggest you choose the 3-day tour to fully enjoy everything there is to see.
