We stop at the Tullyies Standing Stones for a photo stop.
Culross
We continue onwards to the Royal Burgh of Culross. This picturesque village is a textbook example of a 17th century village in Scotland. You might recognise the village from Outlander, as it feature as Claire’s herb garden, and the Mercat Cross in the show’s Cranesmuir Village.

4.00The driver knew the area’s history quite well. He was very nice and considerate of the passengers. I do wish he had guided us through the village of Culross to point out the Outlander filmed locations. He gave general directions but the streets are narrow and confusing. The tour could’ve included a drive-by of Jamie’s print shop as it is on the way out of Edinburgh.

4.00This tour is one of the best ever when it comes to value for money because you see SO MANY places. My ONLY gripe would be that there was no AC in the van we took so I would encourage you to bring a personal fan or cooling bandana for the long drive. Our guide was very funny and kind, we loved it!
