What To Expect
The Park is a bird lover’s paradise because of our abundant water sources. The Park attracts over 100 different species native to Costa Rica. Our expert guides will take you to hidden bird havens and strategic locations that will allow you to observe these tropical birds in their natural habitat. Keep an eye out for the following species: Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, Oropendolas, Roseate Spoonbill, Sunbittern, King Vulture, Crested Guan, Spectacled Owl, Red-lored Parrot, Pale Billed Woodpecker. On the tour you will visit the waterfall The Encanto are found in the raw beauty of this park of 850 acres amazing scenery with the wonderful sounds that rushing water always creates. You will see private waterfall on this hike, and each will provide you with an unforgettable impression of the majesty of falling water. You will finish this great tour with a horseback ride in the middle of the rainforest.

5.00It was a wonderful adventure - I took my 17 year old nephew and the hike, swimming in the waterfall and riding the horses were awesome!! Our guide Andres was knowledgeable on the plants, birds, trees on the property. He looked around the whole time to be able to point out interesting things.
Nice Morning Ride in a Beautiful Setting

5.00Have breakfast or something to eat ahead of time. It's about a 2.5 to 3 hour round trip journey. You'll take your horse out across the property to the waterfall where people are rappelling (might be worth a try). It's a really pretty place and the guides are good. The horses are really nice. We saw a Caracara eagle which was really cool. When you get out to the waterfall you'll get off your horse and the guides will take you on a hike. (You'll meet the horse later) Our guide was nice. He was from Panama but I can't recall his name (I think Andreas). Very knowledgeable on the property. He'll teach you about the leaf-cutter ants and their little society, the Morpho butterflies if it is in season, and the flaura. Then you'll meet up with your horse again and ride back. It was a really nice morning.
