Your host is there to facilitate your entry, provide you with all the necessary information , and ensure that every nook and cranny is explored. Once you have your tickets, you can choose to continue your visit independently , at your own pace, or remain with a host for enhanced access.
Once you reach the second floor , you can then take the elevator to the top If the option is selected and admire a breathtaking panoramic view of all of Paris — an unforgettable moment not to be missed!

The summit may close unexpectedly at the tower's discretion. If this happens and you’ve booked summit access, you’ll receive a partial refund.
During peak periods, security checks can sometimes take as long as an hour.
According to tower regulations, if you book the summit, you must visit the top first before exploring the lower floors.
If you chose the cruise option: It’s a 1-hour Seine River cruise with Bateaux Parisiens, departing from the Eiffel Tower. Admire Paris’s top landmarks like Notre-Dame, the Louvre, and the Musée d'Orsay, with audio commentary available in 14 languages. Cruises run daily, every 30 minutes from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM. Your tour guide will give you the tickets on the day of the tour, and they’re valid for 1 year.

Eiffel Tower
Ascend the Eiffel Tower as Gustave Eiffel intended—on foot. He believed walking offered the best experience, so we created the original Eiffel Tower Guided Climb. Follow your local guide inside to learn about its engineering, design, and once-controversial story. Pause on the first floor to see a salvaged spiral staircase and step onto the glass floor for a unique vantage point. Then continue to the second level for sweeping views of the Louvre, Notre Dame, Montmartre, the Seine, and beyond. Treat yourself to macarons or shop for souvenirs before your guided tour concludes. If you’ve selected the summit upgrade, board a glass-walled elevator to the pinnacle. Peek into Gustave Eiffel’s restored office—complete with wax figures of Claire and Thomas Edison—and explore historical exhibits. If you’d like a toast at the champagne bar, please note any drinks are at your own expense. Per tower rules, head straight to the summit from the second floor, then revisit the lower levels afterward.

3.00Disappointed that the boat trip didn't happen and they ignored my email to refund me for that part. They buy the tickets on the day. So will walk up to the Eiffel tower and buy the tickets as you can stand there. Similarly the boat trip tickets you go to the provider and they book you that day. There's no difference to you doing this yourself. The main difference is that they give you running commentary which is interesting. However, I'd missed the opportunity to buy Eiffel tower tickets in advance and thought this would give me a definitive entry compared to just showing up and paying when I arrive, that's not the case you are just the same as anyone else showing up and paying. Except you are now limited to make this tour time, paying significantly more and now limited in that you have to walk to the second floor, even if lift access tickets are available. Finding the meeting place is very difficult as it's not within the actual Eiffel tower grounds but a side road looking at the Eiffel tower, indeed by the green cafe but they have no board or logo for the tour company. I think my overall perspective would be different if they responded to my email regarding a refund for the boat trip which didn't happen. They didn't inform me during the Eiffel tower tour that the boat trip wouldn't happen as the tide is too high, I walked there and the boat company informed me that I could use the ticket a different day. We were in Paris for a day trip. I thought emailing them would resolve this and I'd get this section of the ticket refunded but they instead ignored my email. So I paid £150 for 2 people to walk to the second floor and get a lift to the top of the Eiffel tower for what would have cost me £50 just showing up and paying This would have been an option as there were no queues outside, only on the top floor was it busy. Without the boat trip this isn't justifiable financially, nor is it convenient if you are changing your plans for the day to suit this tour.
