Our family of six had a great time exploring the lake and the trail with Eli! We have all fitness and skill levels, and he was able to accommodate everyone with ease. We also enjoyed his enthusiastic curiousity, and learned a lot about the plants along the trail. highly recommend as a great activity for a group that wants to do something together but might have different skill levels.

I went with a group and our guide was Eli. I had an amazing time – we were picked up from our inn in Anchorage and the guide was friendly and respectful from the start. He was a safe driver and made good conversation, and we saw a moose with two babies on the way; which he definitely made happen. As a first time kayaker, Eli explained everything and made sure we were comfortable, and he gave us extra advice since our kayaks rudder wasn’t working for us. He let us paddle around on the water and check out what we wanted to see, but balanced it by coming by and talking with us a couple times. The most disappointing part of the day was having to leave the lake. The hike after was also great, as he was knowledgeable about the nature around the trail and shared it with us. It was nice to be with someone so openly excited by the nature we were in. I had to ask to rest a few times since it was all uphill, and I was never made to feel like a burden.

Awesome guide Max was very informative about everything. The Kayaking was so peaceful and the views were gorgeous. The hike afterwards was awesome too and Max was very informative about the wildlife and plants . We saw a moose and its calf too. I recommend this guide for everyone who wants to get a taste of what Alaska is really about.
