By far one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Elafonissi is situated on the south west coast. A tropical effect is created by its white and pink coral sands. Head to the right for shallow water in a small enclosed lagoon ideal for the children. A walk through the lagoon to the islet is most worthwhile as you will discover this unique coastline.

Simona is super lovely! She is passionate about the area and has some cool info to share including historical facts and myths! I’m not usually an excursion person but I would definitely recommend.

This experience was very nice. It wasnt only the trip to the Elafonissi, we also stopped at a Cave and visited a village called Elos, and stayed there at the Taverna. Me and my girlfriend got a very nice view of local Crete people and for the price, this trip was definitely worth of money.

Amazing tours. One of the best we have taken. Simona kept us engaged with stories and kept us informed. Multiple pick up points so super easy wherever you are staying. Our driver was amazing with all the hair pin turns. We had a first stop at a small village to climb to the cave/and or have breakfast with clean bathrooms. Great latte and juice. Buy some donkey milk hand cream and olive oil. We had about 45 minutes there. The beach is amazing. Weather was perfect. Water is calm and shallow. Food and drinks steps away, calm water for kayak and paddle board, showers, umbrella . Plenty of convenience stores for you stop by and get stuff. We had 4 hours which was perfect. We then stopped another village where you can grab a Cretan meal or expore for 1 hour. Clean restrooms. We were back at our hotel by 7:30. It was a 12 hour day but the the timing of the stops were perfect for meals and it was just the right amount of time at each stops.

What a superb day, picked up on time outside our hotel, transfer to Elafonissi via a drop of for other people on a different trip. First stop the caves, its a walk up but worth it for the views across the mountains and the cave itself. Stop at the cafe below for a drink and we got a pizza which was very nice for the beach trip. Off to the beach! Its abit of a walk but we would return tomorrow! Soft sand clear blue sea and warm water teaming with fish! Fantastic time, had 4 hours so more than enough to enjoy it, back on the coach then to a small village Elos, then back to your hotel. Overall a superb day, for the cost I dont think you will beat this trip its amazing! A big shout to the driver, the roads are a bit scary if you dont like heights but the driver was outstanding dealing with parked cars and all kinds of issues! Also the host who gave us all kinds of interesting facts throughout the trip. I wouldnt hesitate to go on this again and I am very grateful to all involved, thank you for a lovely day.

This was a fun experience. Stopping at the caves first was a neat and very cool spot to explore. From there, we headed to Elafonissi beach, which is beautiful! There is food, drinks, ice cream, chairs(for a fee), bathrooms(1euro)-everything you need. The water is so clear and turquoise in colour. After the beach we headed to Elos-which is a small village. To be honest, there is not much to see here, but the local restaurant is amazing! The food is very traditional and reasonable priced. We had no problem supporting a local restaurant. Simona was our tour guide and George was the bus driver. They were both very professional and Simona was filled with great history and information. I would recommend this tour!

Superb place. Similarities with its Corsican coves. Do not miss this beach. As for the pink sand, it is a bit faded, but how pretty it is.
