Kui Buri National Park
After a one-and-a-half-hour drive, we reach the Kui Buri Visitor Center and transfer from the national park to a guided safari vehicle. We travel to the Huai Luek Wildlife Area and wait for the elephants and other animals to forage. We also visit the beautiful dry-humid forest and observe birds such as the Crested Fireback, the Indian Roller, and the Asian Spoonbill! Occasionally, we may also spot gaurs and leopards. Please note before booking: This trip is not a zoo visit. There are approximately 320 protected wild elephants left in this national park, and the chance of seeing elephants in the wild and on rough terrain is about 90-95 percent. However, we cannot guarantee 100 percent that or how many elephants you will see. Sometimes you will see them from a distance or just a few hundred meters away. There are also many other animals to observe, such as birds and gaurs. We will stay in the park about 3 Hours or sometimes until it is getting almost dark.

A great half day , picked up from the hotel around 1h 15m to get there and then another 15/20m till we saw the first of several elephant troops and other local wildlife. We deliberately choose an overcast and cooler day as hoped it would increase our chances and we weren’t wrong 20+ elephants and an amazing scene at the end as a troop of 9 right in front around 25m away. We didn’t see much else but it’s really about seeing elephants in the wild. A lovely guide in the forest in our off road vehicle. The Thai restaurant you stop at for dinner is really good also. The driver and guide excellent. A brilliant trip

Talked with the guide who has been doing the tour 19 years and he said he only had 6 times where they had not seen elephants. Super tour and great food to cap off the evening as well!

A great tour we can recommend to anyone! Our guide Bee was great! He already told us a lot of interesting things about the country and the things we saw on the way to the national park. Once in the park, he was very dedicated and made a lot of effort to ensure that we saw many animals. We also actually saw elephants in three different places, once it was even a larger group with two juveniles. We were able to observe them up close, which was really special! All in all a wonderful excursion, we would definitely book the tour again!

This was a fun experience. Our group did get to see one elephant from a distance, but the entire experience was very informative and fun. Our guide went out of his way to make sure we all enjoyed the day and kept it very fun!

I went on this Kuiburi National Park tour with my wife. We had done many different experiences with elephants in the past, but this was our first time seeing them in the wild. We were prepared to possibly not see any. After all, there could not be a guarantee for us to see anything, since these were wild animals. I was thinking that if we were lucky to see any, that they would be a great distance away. It turns out that we saw a big group of elephants just a few minutes into the tour. We were even quite close to them. I would not have wanted to be any closer than we were. At this point, I already thought the tour was a success. We did end up seeing quite a few more in several different areas of the park. I highly recommend this experience for everyone.

Great tour to the national park. In total we probably saw 20 elephants, also many calves. The great scenery, the flora and fauna did the rest. Super nette Tourguidin. Waeer was only available in the Pick Up in the park, for the ride (about 90 min. From Hua Hin) you should take a water with you. The pick-ups are not covered, you are at the mercy of the weather, whether sun or rain.

The journey from Cha Am was unfortunately quite far. The national park is very nice. We have seen elephants, buffalo, a lizard and various birds. Unfortunately, everything from afar. Still a nice experience. The dinner was great, the escort was also very nice.

The guide told us only what we could experience but nothing during the experience itself. Do not engage with children under probably 14 years old when everyone else under bored as we noticed in the other cars. We were first driven to a large place so one had to walk around there even for 45 minutes where only this day there was a kind of animal to see, then we were driven to another place where there were the same animals to watch for about 15 minutes. This is not recommended for smaller children
