Gray Whale Watching at Los Cabos is a daily joy during season! Rancho Tours takes you around the bay of Cabo San Lucas and by the Pacific side onboard a Panga Boat.
Glass Bottom part of the boat is covered for safety reason, you will have a complete view of the whales and experience in this comfortable "Panga" boat. Every year the greatest creatures on earth travel south all the way from Alaska's Bering Sea to find the proper water temperature for procreation. For the luck of us living here at the Baja Peninsula, the warm temperature they need to give birth, happen to be here on these waters and latitudes.

For the luck of us living here at the Baja Peninsula, the warm temperature they need to give birth, happen to be here on these waters and latitudes. This magnificent event starts from January and ends on April; it's one of the most amazing wild life experiences anybody can live. While the 5000 mile Gray Whale migration from Alaska, mainly has a destiny at Magdalena Bay situated 270 miles north of Cabo San Lucas, they also have other destinies and purposes at the Gulf of California and other states of Mexico located more to the south.
Los Cabos
Gray Whale Watching at Los Cabos is a daily joy during season! Rancho Tours takes you around the bay of Cabo San Lucas and by the Pacific side onboard a Glass Bottom Boat "Panga" to meet these majestic creatures passing by the coast. 5.00Sergio, our transport driver from our Resort in Migrino to the boat was GREAT! He made us laugh. He stopped to educate us about some plants /trees that are used as sunblock & aroma therapy. He told us about the culture & community. We appreciated it & him;)

5.00We had an amazing trip. Mico was our captain and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. We started with looking at a few sites just on the edge of the marina, and were on our way to the pirate cave when we started seeing whales jump out of the water. Mico quickly got us over to a pod of 3 whales and we got to watch them and follow them for 90 minutes. The whales were waving, jumping and playing all around. It was an amazing experience and Mico knew just what to do to make it so special.

5.00We booked a whale watching trip on their small luxury Tritons boat and we were not disappointed! To start, Sergio our driver was awesome and pointed out sights and local spots on our way there. Cesar our boat captain made sure we had a great day, staying away from the boat bottlenecks to where the whales were, speeding us off at one point to catch up with a big pod of whales - it felt like we were swimming with them! Thanks so much Rancho! Highly recommend

5.00We had an amazing experience all the way around! Sergio provided transportation back and forth from our resort- he was so great to chat with and made sure we knew exactly where to go and where to meet him when the tour was done. And then the whales! I know there is no way to control what we get to see from the whales, but we called our boat captain Alejandro "the whale whisperer" because he just seemed to know how to find them, and they put on a show for us. It was breathtaking. I also really appreciated that Alejandro found a good balance of getting the boat in the best position to see the whales while keeping a distance that felt respectful to the whales and safe for all. Finally, I loved that we had the option to walk around town afterward. The restaurant that they designated as the meeting point had the BEST margarita I've ever had.

5.00My wife and I booked an excursion from Grand Solaris lighthouse in San Jose del Cabo to go whale watching in Cabo San Lucas we were picked up on time by our driver Sergio ,the vehicle was very clean and Sergio drove it like a pro!.On the way to Cabo Sergio was full of very interesting info about the area and was very polite and also funny!. Once in Cabo we boarded a very comfy pontoon boat by our next host Alejandro. Alejandro was great had tons of local knowledge and was super funny !!. We stayed on the water for a couple hours with many many unbelievable whale encounters, memories for a lifetime for sure. We highly recommend this tour and if you ask for Sergio and Alejandro your experience will be fantastic!!

5.00Went out with Sergio for a whale watching/arch tour/snorkeling adventure and couldn’t be happier with how it went. Guide made us comfortable and was super knowledgeable, obviously loves his job. Saw the arch up close and humpback whales, awesome experience, highly recommend.
