  I had an incredible experience with Panama Your Way on the Embera Village tour, largely thanks to my guide, Aldo, who was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we left Panama City, Aldo began sharing the history of the city, the country, and the Panama Canal in a way that was engaging and insightful. Knowing I wanted to see the canal, he even took a specific bridge off the main route so I could get a great view — a thoughtful touch that really showed how personalized this tour was. We then headed to the river, where we took a canoe with members of the Embera community. The boat ride itself was stunning and peaceful. We were the first to arrive at a waterfall, which meant we had the place to ourselves. Swimming in the warm water for about half an hour before other tourists arrived was magical and the perfect way to enjoy nature. At the village, the Embera people welcomed us warmly and shared their community, traditions, and way of life. We enjoyed nice food, music, and dancing — an authentic and meaningful cultural experience. On the way back, Aldo and I even stopped for a “pipa” (fresh coconut water), which was the perfect ending to an already perfect day. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If you enjoy nature and want to learn more closely about the history, culture, and daily life of the Embera people — and Aldo makes it exceptional. Highly recommended!

  We had Danny at Panama Your Way arranged our 20 day Panama adventure. We went to experience the culture and learn the history and we came away with an incredible trip. Guides, transportation, excursions, accommodations all organized by Danny and everything was very good and went smoothly. Guides we had as we travelled around the country were terrific. Orlando, Felix, Juan, Wilma, I cannot say enough good things about them. My take away from Panama is it is a safe and beautiful country filled with friendly, warm and welcoming people.

  Two couples visiting Panama for the first time. I did not know what to expect. We were picked up from the airport by Gabriel, who is instantly a very likable individual. The hotel was situated in the business district, so traffic can build -up at rush hours, but it was clean and well appointed. The breakfasts were included also. I did request early check-ins (as we arrived on red eye flights), but was initially told that our rooms were not ready until 3pm (we got to hotel at 12pm)! However the staff member did accommodate one room for us once I told him that I did arrange this beforehand. It gave us enough time to put our luggage in the room and then go for lunch. The tours started promptly and we had perfect timings to see the iMax canal show, the ships on the canal, the waterfall experience (we were first to the falls and had plenty of alone time before the crowds came). Our tour guide Gabriel was the perfect host. An extremely jolly chap! Very knowledgeable and polite and a safe driver. The tours went perfectly including the unforgettable monkey experience. The historic part of the city is beautiful. Try yo get some restaurant dining in there. We went to Calesta and Tantalo and Sama Sky lounges. Botanica Pizza was also fantastic (try their wings!). The tour was organized by Danny, who was prompt with answering my emails and with dinner reservations. The Embera people were gracious hosts and we learnt about the traditions and culture whilst also exploring the rainforest. All in all it was a wonderful way to experience the beauty of Panama and meet it’s incredibly wonderful people. I would highly recommend this tour.

  Phenomenal experience. Tour was well-planned and executed. Guide was extremely knowledgeable about indigenous culture and traditions, and of course, the experience of the Embera people sharing even one day was transformative. I highly recommend this tour.

  The canoe ride, walk thru the forest, waterfall, Indian village experience was simply exhilarating. Panamayourway company and the tour guide Aldo made it all the more memorable. They took care of everything and meticulously planned the trip. They are punctual, curteous, friendly and i had the best time. I would very highly recommend this company.

  Gabriel was an amazing and kind tour guide, going out of his way to make us feel comfortable and shared all about the history of Panama with us on the way to the forest. He even stopped on the way back to get us fresh coconuts! The Emberas people were so kind and welcoming and it is truly a once in a lifetime experience to see their way of life. Not to mention the forest is absolutely stunning it feels like you are on a whole different planet. Highly recommend this tour!!
