Our group came from all over the world — mainland China, Hong Kong China, the UK and the US. We had an amazing time eating incredible Valencian paella together. We met up at the local market at 11 AM to pick up all the ingredients we needed. The studio was just a 5-minute walk away, fully air-conditioned with such a lovely space! We prepped all the food side by side, sipped unlimited wine, nibbled on snacks, and had so much fun cooking together. It’s such a fun experience. All in all, I’d 100% recommend this experience. It’s definitely one of my favourite travel memories ever, thank you so much! P.S. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 我们一行人来自世界各地(中国大陆,中国香港,英国,美国),一起享受了非常好吃的瓦伦西亚海鲜饭以及美好的时光。早上11点,我们相见于当地市场一起采购所需要的食材,然后只需要步行5分钟即可到达工作室(有空调,环境非常好)。一起准备食材,享受美酒和小食,在烹饪过程中寻找乐趣(很有趣但是我不打算在这里剧透哈哈:D) 总之,强烈推荐,谢谢这段经历,成为我最美好的旅行回忆之一!btw,食物超级好吃😋

Amazing culinary experience. The experience from start to finish was very good. From fetching the ingredients at the Ruzafa Market, to preparing step by step the tasty Paella directed by Ramón while savoring some appetizers of cheese, Iberian ham and sangria added to make it a great experience. Ramón was not only guiding us while we were looking for the ingredients, but also very jocularly and made us feel family. I recommend this unforgettable culinary experience.

Ramon was amazing! Our Paella making experience was an outstanding afternoon. The food and drinks were all delicious, from the ham and cheese appys and sangria to our expertly crafted paella and wine. Ramon guided us with laughter and really clear explanations of what to do and why in the creation of the paella. He encouraged questions and conversations It was the 2 of us with a group of 10 who welcomed us and it felt like we were having an afternoon with friends. An experience we will remember fondly, a highlight of our trip to Valencia!

My friend and I took part in this amazing paella workshop and really enjoyed it. Jordi was friendly, quite fluent in English (as well as his native Spanish), and an excellent instructor. He got everyone involved, and made the whole activity fun as well as instructive. We had eight people in our group, which was just the perfect size. By the time we sat down to eat, we had formed friendships and exchanged phone numbers with the other attendees. The kitchen was spacious, clean, climatized and quite close to the Rusafa market. This workshop was a wonderful, authentic experience and I highly recommend it.

Our paella-making day in Valencia was a truly unforgettable cultural and culinary adventure. The day began with a guided visit to the local mercado, where we handpicked fresh ingredients—nothing frozen, nothing artificial. This was traditional paella Valenciana, so no seafood—just chicken, rabbit (conejo), local green beans (judía verde), and rice. Led by a world champion of paella, we learned every step of the process, from preparing the sofrito to achieving the perfect socarrat—the prized crispy layer at the bottom of the pan. We quickly discovered that timing, fire control, and ingredient placement are critical. As our chef warned us, “Es catastrófico quemar el arroz”—burning the rice is a disaster! Throughout the day, we sipped homemade sangría, shared laughs, and soaked up the atmosphere. The chef’s son even joined us for lunch, creating a truly warm and welcoming experience. When it came time to taste our creation, it was simply the best paella we’ve ever had—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. A dish worthy of its world championship status. This was more than just a cooking class—it was a deep dive into Valencian tradition. An absolute must for anyone visiting Spain’s paella capital.
