Our family of four had a great day on this experience. It’s a full afternoon in a remote location which is stunning. We saw whales, dolphins and lots of birdlife. The kayaking is reasonably demanding but supported by great instruction and excellent guides in Vince and Seb. We appreciated the pickup at the Noosa bus station - just needed to send a message a few days out to arrange this. Read the details before you go and bring everything they recommend - it’s a once in a lifetime experience.

As a complete beginner, I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to kayaking. Our guide Seb (the one with long hair) was absolutely fantastic – he gave clear instructions, stayed patient, and made me feel completely at ease. I didn't get seasick at all, picked up the paddling quickly, and by the end, I had lost my fear of the open water. Seb's calm and encouraging attitude made all the difference. A huge shoutout to Vince, our driver and guide, who was equally incredible – super funny, endlessly energetic, and genuinely kind. He kept us laughing all day and made sure everyone was having a great time. Highly recommended!

We had a great day with out guides Kevin and JB. Weather was a bit cool, windy, and the sea a bit rougher than we would have hoped, but we were excited to see lots of dolphins, two swam almost directly under our kayak. The drive up was great too, with Kevin providing lots of interesting knowledge of the wildlife, and we saw whales jumping about 500 meters or so off the beach. Excellent day for the family!

Great chat from our guide Kevin all the way to meeting Seb at Double Island Point. Solid kayak technique teaching and looking after us all on a pretty lumpy day. Great tunes and singing on the way home. All in all a top day out.

The drive on the beach is already an adventure in itself before you even hit the water. Fabulous scenery and great kayaking. Can get physical so follow the guide….

Had such a great day trip to double island point with Epic Ocean Adventures. Our guide Vince was a legend, keeping spirits high despite an exhausting day. I wasn't able to do the kayaking due to poor fitness, but he gave me heaps of tips of wildlife spotting from the shore and inner lagoons. 4wd on the great sandy national park was a very cool experience, as was being on the vast pristine honeymoon bay area. The participants who did do the kayak experience reported seeing dolphins and mantas, would recommend if you're able to kayak 6kms.
