  I had done a lot of research online, and can say that bumping into Manar before my honeymoon trip to Egypt was the best stroke of luck! I liked her portfolio right away, and she only kept impressing me. From the outset, Manar was responsive/available, and has shown herself to be incredibly flexible and kind. I shared some inspiration from her own portfolio as well as a few other artistic, vintage references I’d found online. She not only adjusted the itinerary to include the places/shots I wanted, but also managed to recreate those frames perfectly. Manar guided us naturally when we didn’t know how to pose and made us feel at ease. She’s truly a joy to be around. The results exceeded my expectations (and I consider myself quite picky!). I highly recommend her. I’ve already referred her to some friends visiting Cairo and will continue to do so without hesitation.

  I discovered Manar when searching for a professional photoshoot at the Pyramids on Viator. The moment I saw her photographs I knew I had found our photographer. Prior to the photoshoot, Manar reached out to provide some helpful tips and colour wardrobe guidelines which my husband and I appreciated to help prepare for the shoot. Manar also made it very easy for us to coordinate our meeting point with her. From the moment we met , I felt an instant connection with Manar. She is a kind and genuine person who instantly puts you at ease. I am not used to being in front of a camera posing, but Manar’s warm personality and professional guidance allowed me to relax and fully enjoy the experience. Manar is incredibly intuitive. She has the ability to see into your mind’s eye and capture images that you thought only you could imagine! She is a true professional, and she creates pure artistic magic through the lens of her camera! Manar delivered the link to our photo gallery within a couple of days and when we first viewed them I was totally speechless!! Manar is a beautiful soul, inside and out, and she really went above and beyond to make an amazing and unforgettable experience for us! She captured perfect moments in time in a magical place.   I have just received the most incredible pictures of my son and me from our recent trip to Egypt. Manar has this almost magical ability to capture a moment as it truly is — honest, unguarded, and full of life. The way she sees the pyramids, bending the light to her vision, is beyond words. I’m especially in awe of Manar’s black-and-white shots (so grateful to the algorithms and sheer luck that led me to her work!). She created some of ours both in color and in B&W, and seeing them today nearly brought me to tears. It’s rare to meet someone who not only photographs but truly sees — who senses people, their invisible connections, and turns it all into art.   I am so happy to have met Manar Gad for a personal photoshoot with my wife at Egypt’s ancient Giza Pyramids. Traveling from Canada, my wife and I wanted a special capture of our moments on the historic Giza Plateau. Manar met us as planned and led us to the most perfect vantage points amongst the Sphynx, the pyramids and the dessert settings. Each photo was a unique moment on its own and, collectively, Manar’s gallery of photos became our perfect keepsake to take back to Canada and to cherish. Manar's communications before we met helped us to prepare for meeting her. We also found her website of photo examples most helpful when we were considering our own options for clothing and depictions. We felt relaxed and comfortable with Manar as she worked with us individually and as a couple. We went to several locations and relied on her good advice and judgement as she suggested just the right amount of coaching to make our photos look absolutely natural. She also arranged with the owners of the camels for our visit to a perfect photo expanse as well as the leaping or flying horse for a special one-in-a-lifetime shot. Importantly for us, Manar knew which owner would provide us with a camel and horse that were well cared for and easy to manage without harm. Manar's manner and kindness really made us feel welcomed as a friend and that sense of comfort shows easily in the photos she captured. If you want the best among many local photographers, quite simply trust that Manar Gad is the one to make your decision easy and to deliver you the most perfect results.   My friend and I discovered Manar’s photography through Instagram. I stumbled upon her page while exploring sites for our trip to Cairo (October 2025). After seeing Manar’s photos, I knew we had to request a photoshoot with her! Coordinating with Manar was easy. We arranged everything through email and payment was through PayPal. We met Manar at the pyramid’s entry gates. Manar was friendly and professional right from the start. Our Egyptologist guide and Manar worked together to get us to various points around the pyramid complex to take photos, while simultaneously learning about the history. As we moved about the complex, everyone said hello to Manar. She is a fixture at the pyramids, it’s clear that the workers, guides, and vendors all respect and adore her. I am not the best with posing, but Manar was able to offer direction to capture stunning shots. She made my friend and I feel relaxed, comfortable, and welcomed. Manar has a talent on how to find the best lighting and locations. Manar is able to work with the complex’s vendors if you’re interested in riding a camel or horse. Animal welfare is important to us, so we asked our Manar, and our guide, to only work with caretakers that treated their animals well. However, if you don’t want to go that route, you can still travel around the complex to get amazing photos without interacting with the camels or horses. We loved Manar’s work so much that we booked a second session with her assistant Hassan while exploring Cairo’s Old City and Coptic Cairo neighborhoods. Hassan was equally as courteous, professional, and talented. I was surprised to see the photos appear in my inbox the following day! Very fast delivery. Manar leaves your photos on her site (accessed via a password) for you to download for about 6 months. She organizes them well, but it still takes time to go through and select your favorite shots. I appreciated that she allows you to have access to the photos for an extended timeframe. That definitely takes some of the pressure off while you are traveling. Not only is Manar an talented photographer, she is just an amazing, genuine person. I highly recommend arranging a photoshoot with her while you are in Cairo!

  had an amazing experience with Manar. She was very professional, helpful, and friendly. Manar really listened to what I wanted and had a lot of patience, took me around the pyramids and made the whole experience enjoyable. I’m beyond happy with the final photos, they turned out exactly how I imagined, if not better 😍
