Experience the picturesque Yarra Valley with us, Dancing Kangaroo Tours. We focus on quality experiences by bringing guests together through yummy wines, top tour guiding and amazing service.
On this tour, you'll enjoy wine tastings at four premium hand-picked wineries representing a mix of acclaimed and boutique producers such as Yering Station, Soumah, Helen & Joey, Payten & Jones and much more.
Enjoy a delightful two-course lunch (shared antipasto & individual mains with sides) with a complimentary glass of wine at a charming winery.
We end the day the renowned Yarra Valley Chocolate & Ice-Cream Factory for a bit of cheeky self-indulgence.
Now to spice things up and for a small additional fee per person, on most days you can switch the fourth winery stop to enjoy tastings at either Four Pillars Gin Distillery (select "CLASSIC WINE and GIN" option - available 7-days a week) or Watts River Brewery (select "CLASSIC WINE and BEER" option - available Thursday to Monday only).

LUNCH usually includes shared antipasto platters followed by individual mains with a glass of wine. Occasionally, mains are shared with sides instead. Please contact us regarding any dietary requirements or concerns.
The tour features may be subject to change. In the event of significant changes to your booked tour, rest assured that we will make every effort to inform you well in advance before you join the tour.
NOTE: There are FLIES in Australia in Summer! Please don't pick this tour if you let some flies upset you.
NOTE: It can actually be HOT/SUNNY in Summer! Please don't pick this tour if you cannot tolerate the heat and alcohol.

NOTE: This tour is not suitable for people with mobility issues particularly with climbing stairs. Please do not book this tour as some of our experiences unfortunately cannot accommodate.

What To Expect
Address: Arts Centre Melbourne Spire 6/2 St Kilda Rd, Southbank VIC 3006 NOTES: Please meet at this central pickup location at 8:45AM. We am to depart at 9:00AM so please plan your trip accordingly to avoid delays. TIP to getting here: From Flinders Street Station, walk across the Princes Bridge towards the Arts Centre Melbourne Spire and wait near the Protagonist Cafe at the front there.
Yering Station
On most days, this is one of our winery visits. We'll enjoy a tasting here with an opportunity to explore their lovely estate. Yering Station is a renowned winery in the Yarra Valley, offering a wide range of high-quality wines including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Established in 1838, the winery features a stunning estate and historic cellar door, providing visitors with a unique wine-tasting experience. In addition to wine, Yering Station also offers fine dining at their restaurant and hosts a variety of events throughout the year.

5.00Hubs and I had a wonderful Yarra Valley tour with Posi as our guide. He was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and shared many interesting insights about the region, the wineries, and local history throughout the trip. His explanations were engaging and easy to understand, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Posi was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and had a great time. The highlight was definitely the karaoke singalong on our ride back to the city after enjoying all that adult grape juice! The tour was well-paced, and we really appreciated all the effort he put into making the day so enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Posi as your guide!

5.00Great experience our driver/guide was amazing, great driver good music and kept us on time and informed. Comfortable Mini-Bus seating no more than 11 for a short 1 hour drive to Yarra Valley. Start at 9:00 a.m. but we were back by 5:30 p.m. not to late and four wineries is really the max anyway. I gave it 5/5 because it was well organized and tour operator was top notch. We didn't love all the wineries - but that's personal preference. Tips that might help others.... We went to Yering Station, Soumah, Helen & Joey and selected the Gin Option at the end. We enjoyed all the wineries except Helen & Joey was not for us - very new beautiful facilities - but the wines were sort of blah - drinkable but not very good. Yering Station and Soumah were excellent and lunch at Soumah was very well done and generous portions for sure. In retrospect the Gin Option was interesting, but should have just stuck with 4 wine locations - although on Trip Advisor it indicated this option was not available, but when we stopped at the last stop the 4th wine stop was across the street from the Gin stop so not sure why that wasn't an option. Note if you're looking for Beer Option they are closed on Monday's and Tuesday's per Dancing Kangaroo Tours when we asked.
