We ate very fine. All fresh, regional products cooked with a lot of love. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Alessio is a fantastic guide, and Erice is a great place to visit. Highly recommend guided tour as Alessio took us to places that we might have missed on our own. Also, he knows everyone, and they all greet him warmly and with enthusiasm. The warm genovesi pastries at Maria Grammatico’s and the whispering bench were particular highlights.

We had a rich, informative and visually stunning experience on our Erice tour with Allessio. The pacing of our time was perfect. We stopped at many breathtaking locations both taking in the incredible vistas from Erice and seeing the Duomo and the monastery. We had the opportunity to see the creation of tappettos, the unique hand loomed rugs of Erice. And there were delicious treats along the way! He steered us to the right shops and, as I had been looking for the just right ceramic pigna to bring home with me, he brought me to a shop where I found just the one that spoke to me! His passion for his home is evident which is impressive knowing how often he must give these tours. His appreciation of the richness and beauty of Erice ( and Trapani) comes through. I cannot recommend this tour more highly!

Erice is a lovely ancient mountain top village. Quaint shops and cafes. People struggling to keep traditional alive here. My second visit and I loved it just as much!

Access to Erice by cable car from Trapani (€8) and purchase of a package on site (€15) which gives access to all the monuments paying for the city. A beautiful walk in the cobblestone streets, full of small shops!

Starting with Erice, it was absolutely worth the trip. It was like taking a step back in time as you leisurely walked the uncrowded, cobblestone streets and stopped in the various bars, shops, and churches (and the world-famous patisserie for Genovese). The panoramic views were breathtaking. The experience was made even better by my guide, Alessio. I felt like I’ve known Alessio forever, and he treated me more as an old friend than a client. His knowledge of the history of Trapani and Erice are something to behold. You can feel the joy Alessio gets in meeting new people and teaching them about his culture - he’s the BEST, as was the tour
