What makes our activity truly special is the real Moroccan hospitality we offer to our guests. Beyond cooking and the tea Ceremony, we share with them everything they should know about Morocco and Essaouira, helping them discover the best places to buy spices, gifts, and argan oil at fair local prices. We also provide recommendations for authentic Moroccan dishes that most tourists never get to try, and suggest unique activities to enrich their stay. Sometimes, we even meet before the cooking class to go shopping together, or the following morning for a walking tour of the city, exploring the markets side by side and experiencing Essaouira like a local.

What To Expect

Thank you for choosing us. we’ll do our very best to make your cooking class a truly special experience. We’ll begin by meeting near a traditional local market, where together we’ll shop for the fresh ingredients we’ll need, before heading to my home. Once there, the fun begins: peeling, cutting, maybe even a little crying over the onions, as we prepare everything for our tagine. I’ll also capture some pictures so you can take home great memories. When our tagine is simmering on the fire, we’ll enjoy Moroccan mint tea, share conversations, and give you my best tips on where to eat, shop, and find the most authentic spices or gifts at the right prices. And finally, when the tagine is almost ready, I’ll sneak out to grab some fresh bread, then come back and let you serve me the meal you just cooked for me. When your reservation is done, i will send you our Tagine liste so you can choose which one you'd like to make. Don’t hesitate to ask if you need any help or recommendations for your personal shopping. Excited to see you.

Fantastic cooking class in Essouira. We bought our ingredients in a local market and then cooked the best tahini I ever tasted. We also learned about tea making culture and had lovely chats with Isaac who was so welcoming and kind. I really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it.
Top host, amazing chat, and amazing food. Smiles all round.

Isaac was an exceptional host from start to finish. He couldn't have done more. Fitting me in last minute, as flying home the next day. Very welcoming, easy to speak with and instantly puts you at ease. A fountain of knowledge on traditional morrocan cooking/lifestyle. He is full of useful information about Essaouira the local area, and beyond. I highly recommend this experience,with Isaac, you won't leave disappointed.

Isaac and his girlfriend were incredible hosts! The renowned Moroccan hospitality at its highest level! ❤️ We shopped at a very local market, (loved it!) we were then invited into Isaac‘s incredibly clean, darling home. We had asked to prepare a vegetarian and a meatball tangine. Isaac showed us how to prepare everything. The spices were amazing! While our food cooked in the traditional clay pots, Issac showed us the proper way to make and serve mint tea. It was a revelation! Mint tea will never be the same for me after Issac’s explanation. We will never forget this evening. It was the best experience we had while in Essaouira, and one of our best memories from ALL of our time in Morocco. Blessings Issac, for you, your girlfriend, and your families. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We met Isaac at the market to shop for our meal and were greeted so warmly and enthusiastically. We knew we were in great hands. Onto his home then and began our tutorial on traditions and culture as well as cooking. We made 2 different Tangines. Each were delicious. We felt so welcomed that we could stay the night and sleep off our food hangover if need be. Today he sent us recommendations for restaurants and dishes to try. Plus, shopping tips. I cannot recommend spending an evening with Isaac and his darling girlfriend more highly. Definitely a 5 star experience.

It was my last day in Morocco after a fortnightly tour with friends. Spontaneously I decided to do a cooking workshop myself the night before, almost everything was full. Isaac arranged with another group so I could trade places with them. Super nice! You choose the tagine you want to make yourself. We started at the local market to do the shopping. After this you will be invited to Isaac's house and the cooking class will start. I learned a lot about the different spices, but also about the Moroccan culture. You step out of your tourist bubble for a moment. Really a unique experience, and delicious food😋

What a wonderful evening we had with Issac! I can highly recommend having this cooking experience. It was wonderful to be welcomed into his home and hear about life here. It was fun cooking with him and learning about the spices and both tagines were delicious. We also had a bit of music and sing a long too. What’s not to like!

Great experience shared with my 16 year old daughter! I can only recommend! On the program: - races to the market to realize the tagine we had chosen when registering. -head to Isaac's home to cook. Friendly Mood and in all simplicity. Like at home!! Also, we got to know his very nice companion, Amélie. - tea ceremony - sharing the meal with my whole family (because Amélie even went to get my husband and my son!!). The next day we met in the Medina to do some shopping. Isaac took us to his small suppliers of spices, Amlu, Argan... He also gave us his addresses of restaurants and other shops... I am very happy to have crossed paths with this adorable couple! It was much more than a cooking class!!! Unique experience!!
