A day spent winding through the Tuscany hills, visiting the town of Greve, and breezing past wineries in Chianti? Yes please. Leo was our guide for this tour, and he was nothing short of outstanding. We almost didn't make it to this tour because of extenuating circumstances, but I am SO glad that we didn't miss it. Leo drove our group from one beautiful experience to another -- each one of them very different, special, and memorable. Pictures and memories to last a lifetime. Leo himself made the day for all of us. He was so wonderful to be around -- full of stories and interesting history of the area. We loved every second!

We had the best day in Chianti with Leo our bus driver / guide. A great tour, paced very nicely, with loads of amazing food, wine, exploring and learning! We came home with food we purchased to make ourselves dinner, and a lovely bottle of wine to drink. ...And more to take home with us. Highly recommended.

Wow, this experience was my favorite of our entire Rome and Florence trip! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and a great driver in the winding Chianti hills. He kept us engaged during the drive with wine and history facts, and clearly has a great relationship with the winery managers. This tour takes you to three boutique wineries, as well as the charming town of Greve in Chianti. November was the perfect time to visit as there were just six people total on the tour (4 were from our group!), so it felt very private and exclusive, and the weather was not cold (about 50 F). The meeting spot was easy to find, and the directions were clear. The wines were absolutely wonderful at each of the stops (I dare you not to purchase even one bottle!). The wineries also sell delicious olive oil, vinegars, and my favorite, honey. Riseccoli winery was home to the famous Florentine sculptor Benvenuto Cellini, whose studio is on the property. They traditionally produce wine in concrete, and it was absolutely delightful. The property also has several cats which will greet you. The multi-course lunch at Casa Emma was homemade and authentic, and we were able to sample several of their great wines. My favorite was the villa Poggio Torselli, a magnificent property perched on a hill, with dramatic sweeping views toward Florence. The historic gardens will take your breath away, and the wine is divine. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Do not hesitate to book it for your next trip to Florence!

Jason and Alessio were wonderful hosts Even though it was the end of the season! This was a well paced and curated tour that felt semi private (in part due to it being end of season) but I imagine they would still take great care of a larger group. The wines were amazing and all of the folks at the wineries were very helpful and nice. While I don’t want to give too much away of the stunning scenery attached is a photo of my husband with a winery cat :)

From the moment we signed in (with singing) the tour guides made it a fun and informative experience. I would highly recommend it. We didn’t do the tour with lunch, but there were delicious meats and cheeses with olive oil balsamic vinegar and bread. The wines were delicious. Raf was an excellent guide and this was the highlight of our trip!

My Wife and I are big wine enthusiasts from California and we were excited to book a tour in Tuscany! This tour was spectacular. We lucked out and were 2 of 6 people, being led by Jonathan. Jonathan was an incredible host. Being from Florence, and Boston USA, he was able to relate and explain all kinds of Florence and Tuscany history. He also has a professional food & wine background, and educated us on a lot of great things about Tuscan food & wine. We went to 3 different wineries, and they all had wonderful hosts who guided us through amazing tastings that included cured meats, bread, cheese and olive oil. I bought wine and/or olive oil at all of them. This tour is a wonderful use of a day (8:45am-5pm) in Florence/Tuscany. I would recommend it to everyone.
