In case the mentioned wineries are not available, we will choose estates in the same area and with the same level/quality.
Return at departure point: approx. 5:00pm. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed

Minimum age to join the tour is 12 years old; infants are not allowed
For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.
What To Expect
Florence
After having meet your guide and your travel companions in Florence depart in the direction of the Tuscan wine country. During the ride your guide will explain the schedule of your day.
Tenuta Riseccoli
After a 45 minutes ride, you will stop to Riseccoli, an organic and family owned, hilltop winery; the estate is the expression of the quintessential beauty of Tuscany; rolling hills planted with vines and olive trees, Mediterranean forests and farmhouses scattered against an idyllic backdrop. Here after the visit you will taste a selection of their wines and olive oil.

5.00We spent a wonderful day visiting three family-run wineries with a group of about 20 and a charming guide, Matteo, who made the tour fun and engaging. We learned a lot about Chianti--not just a cheap wine served together with pizza on checkered tablecloths (as we think of Chianti in the USA). The pasta for lunch was great, and though not in the market to purchase wine to send back home (which many did), we did purchase some great olive oil and balsamic vinegar from one of the wineries we visited. We met some lovely, friendly people on the tour, and again Matteo made this tour such a memorable one. Filled with wine, food and knowledge, we returned home happy with our day in Tuscany. We should also give a shout out to our bus driver on Bus #7 with red hair and awesome driving skills. We apologize for forgetting your name, but we wanted you to know that we felt safe and secure on those hair pin turns and tight road spaces. The musical soundtrack on the bus was so much fun. On the way home, everyone was singing to Sweet Caroline and other hits from the days of our past. Great job. This tour should be promoted more, as it is a tour worth taking, especially for those who don't have a car while visiting Florence and beyond.

5.00Nino and Daniele were the best guides. This tour was so much fun. The food and wine were excellent and the amount of time at each stop was perfect. We loved every minute of it. The stop at the square is a nice break and really adds to the experience. The GPS address is perfect out cab dropped us off 20 meters from the check in table.

5.00So glad we booked this tour!! We went to 3 wineries and had an amazing lunch!! Sit on the right side of the bus to see the best views, they take a different road back so unfortunately we missed a lot of the scenic drive portion. If you get motion sickness I would be prepared.

5.00This was an amazing wine tour! Our tour guide/driver, Leo, was fabulous. Very attentive to guests needs, knowledgeable about the area, and funny! The 3 wineries were magnificent. The last was a villa on top of the hillside with stunning scenery, I have never seen anything like it. The tour also stopped in a town called Greve, where we had an hour to walk around and get coffee/gelato. The town was very quaint and beautiful, a very nice addition to the tour. I would absolutely recommend this booking! One of the best days of our trip for sure.
