Due to uneven surfaces, and a few stairs to access wine cellars, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair
In case the mentioned wineries are not available, we will choose estates in the same area and with the same level/quality.
Return at departure point: approx. 5:00pm. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
Itinerary and/or visited wineries may change, based on their availability
Minimum age to join the tour is 12 years old; infants are not allowed
For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

What To Expect
Florence
After having meet your guide and your travel companions in Florence depart in the direction of the Tuscan wine country. During the ride your guide will explain the schedule of your day.
Tenuta Riseccoli
After a 45 minutes ride, you will stop to Riseccoli, an organic and family owned, hilltop winery; the estate is the expression of the quintessential beauty of Tuscany; rolling hills planted with vines and olive trees, Mediterranean forests and farmhouses scattered against an idyllic backdrop. Here after the visit you will taste a selection of their wines and olive oil.

5.00After searching for hours, decided on this tour for a few reasons: 1) they will not cancel even if tour doesn’t reach max capacity. 2) you see 3 wineries, lunch, and see a tuscan town. 3) the type of bus used. We definitely made the right decision!! Tour was our favorite day of the whole trip, our tour guide Leo was amazing and made the trip. Highlights for us - the 3 wineries selected are distinct, and you get a nice sampling of different types of wineries. Seeing the tuscan town was 10/10, the bus was so comfortable and had wifi. Leo provided history and explanation during the drive. Tour group was the perfect size and we were SO GLAD we didn’t pic one of the tours with 50+ people. It’s not a physically strenuous tour and is a nice break from so much walking; my parents who are 65 and 75, one with a bad knee, were able to complete the tour no problem. The lunch was incredible. The pace was great, we’re glad we did the all-day one with 3 wineries, it was relaxed and we had time for pictures at each stop. PRO TIPS: no chargers on bus, bring a portable one. wear layers, you can leave jackets on the bus. bring sunglasses. bring water on the bus because very little is provided at the wineries.

Beautiful countryside, well-chosen wineries, generous tastings, and a delicious Tuscan lunch made the day feel truly special. Our guide Don Lio was very knowledgeable, friendly, humorous and kept everything running smoothly, while the relaxed group size made it easy to enjoy and connect with others. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic taste of Tuscany without the stress of planning!

5.00This was a half day trip visiting 2 estates. Our driver and escort Leo was absolutely entertaining and fabulous. He shared so much knowledge of the area and even shared a few tips on making the perfect pizza! The estates were quaint and beautiful. I learned a lot about what makes a Chianti Classico what it is. Be sure to find the black rooster on the neck of a bottle to ensure authenticity. Overall, a fun and educational experience I recommend to all interested in experiencing the Tuscan wine culture! 5.00This is a wine tour to two wine estates just 45min outside of Florence to Tuscany- San Donato region. Famous wine region in Tuscany. The bus is a luxurious Mercedes Benz coach. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The tour starts with a short drive around Florence and then out of the city. It was informative, wine tasting is included, food is included. The tour guides are sensitive to the needs of the clients, they make time to take photos and time to enjoy the wine. Lovely tour, we made friends because we were only 14 people, I would recommend it. Top class wine and wine estates.
