4.00The volcano tour was a great experience, but I purchased a case of wine and never received it. I finally had to open a dispute with my credit card company after nearly 2 months.

5.00Today was definitely the highlight of a fabulous two weeks in Sicily. We booked the full day tour of Mount Etna with a visit to the vineyards for lunch and a trip to the gorge in the afternoon. Tony was our guide and he was absolutely amazing. He has in-depth knowledge of not only the geology of the area but the history, the culture and the people. His passion for his subject is evident in his every explanation. He made what can sometimes be a dull subject interesting and exciting at all times. All information was delivered in a very clear and engaging manner. There was no question he could not answer! A big shout out also to the company for their very efficient organisation and communication, a real example of a service at its best. Would highly recommend.

5.00Roberto was a very knowlegable guide, describing both the history of the volcano and the geological elements. The pickup was on time and the location was accurately described. The wine pairing and luch was delicious and we enjoyed sharing our experience with our fellow travelers while sitting around the table. This tour is essential while staying in Taormina.

5.00Wanted to see Mount Etna. Well that’s what we did and more! Tony our guide was knowledgeable, informative and interesting and bought to life aspects of the mountain, it’s geology, it’s history and it’s vegetation in a manner that informed and entertained all on this tour. Alcantara Gorge and the lava tubes are added bonuses reinforcing the intriguing natural phenomena of this area. Thanks Tony.

5.00This tour made our holiday. It was only myself and my husband, and another couple, accompanied by our tour guide Luca, who was brilliant - so knowledgeable about all things volcano and nature. Walking boots and coats were provided for the Etna part of the tour. I'm not good with heights, but this was fine for someone with even my capabilities! Seeing Etna was fascinating. The wine tasting part was also enjoyable. Can throughly recommend.

5.00We booked a private tour with Etna People and had the pleasure of being guided by Tony for the day. We went up Etna, got lunch at an amazing winery, saw a lava tube and the Alcantara Gorge. Tony was the highlight of our whole trip! Incredibly knowledgeable about the volcanology of Etna as well as Sicilian history. He made us fall in love with Sicily! I would highly recommend this tour and this tour company to anyone coming to sicily. Fantastic 10/10 experience.

The first part of the day was focused on exploring the volcano followed by a fantastic lunch at a Mt Etna winery. We then explored the Alcantara Gorge in the afternoon - it was a great way to spend the day enjoying nature, would definitely recommend!

5.00We had a truly wonderful day on this tour! Our guide, Luca, was amazing – knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the area. The small group size (only 8 people) made the experience feel personal and relaxed. The day began with a tour of Mt. Etna Park, where we walked on an extinct volcanic cone – an unforgettable experience. We then explored a lava cave, which added a unique and fascinating element to the day. The pace was not rushed, and it was not overly strenuous, but a certain degree of walking fitness would be helpful. The scenery throughout was absolutely stunning. Lunch was a highlight: delicious food paired with a fantastic wine tasting at a local vineyard. We ended the day with a visit to the beautiful Alcantara Gorge, the perfect final stop. Overall, this was an exceptional tour – well-organized, scenic, and informative. Highly recommended!

5.00This was such an amazing tour! Our guide (Luca) was very knowledgeable and experienced. He was able to answer every question that we and the rest of the group had. The hike on the slopes of Mount Etna was moderate with only a few steep parts (walking boots were provided if you did not have suitable shoes). Luca ensured our safety at all times and talked extensively about the history of the volcano. Once we finished our hike, we were taken to a lava cave and were provided with helmets. Again, Luca explained everything in great detail and made sure we were safe on the uneven terrain. For lunch, we were taken to a beautiful vineyard where we were served traditional antipasti and a pasta dish. This was accompanied by an orange wine and a red wine. There were eight people in our group and we were provided with four bottles of wine to share which we thought was incredibly generous! After lunch, we visited the Alcantara gorge. The scenery here was beautiful and we were given the opportunity to bathe in the water. It was very cold (less than 10 degrees) but we managed to get down to our shoulders in the deeper parts! Luca kindly watched our bags for us whilst we were able to enjoy the water. At the end of the tour, Luca dropped us back to our pickup point. Sadly, one of the bottles of wine we had purchased from the vineyard fell out of the van. Luca was very apologetic and vowed to bring us another bottle. Sure enough, the following day, Luca arranged to meet us by our hotel and gave us a replacement bottle of the wine without any extra cost. We felt this went above and beyond the service expected and really appreciated this gesture. Thank you to Etna People (especially Luca!) for the amazing trip!
