Join our evening tour of Ghent and discover the fascinating history, myths and legends of our city with an experienced and passionate local guide.
We take you off the beaten track to show you some highlights and hidden gems of our gorgeous city. After 1.5h we will finish the tour in the medieval quarter of Gent, very close to the city center, with a deeper understanding of Gent and perhaps some new friends!
If you cannot make it to the tour for whatever reason, please notify us, so we can open your slot to other visitors. Thank you and enjoy the tour!

What To Expect
St Michael's Bridge
We start here with an introduction to the history of Ghent and the role the city played as a trading hub in medieval times. We also introduce you to the 3 towers of the Ghent skyline, which are best visible from this spot.
St. Bavo's Cathedral
We’ll tell you the gruesome story of why the beautiful cathedral is also known as the ‘Devil’s Tower’.

5.00It was amazing! Our tour guide was Leo! We was super nice and kind and explained everything with a sort of humour and understanding I have never seen before.the tour and information was also top tier! He explained all about the history and the cruelsome story and creepy little facts.you go all around the city and come back to the same place you started. At the end he gave us coupons with all his favourite places and pointed them out in the tour.To wrap it all up it was a five star experience and I would recommend it!😁

5.00Had a great tour with Kenny as our guide! Excellent mix of history, modern context, and seeing sights. Kenny shared many interesting facts about torture, witch burnings, etc., while keeping a good balance of humor, drama, and respect for the dead. We saw some of the well-known locations and many hidden sights, while learning a great deal about the city and seeing some beautiful places that we otherwise wouldn’t have gone to. Very good pacing, as well!

5.00Our girls' trip this year took us to Ghent, and to get a better feel for the city's history, we chose the "Dark Side" tour with Legends Tour. Our guide, Kenny, was AMAZING!! As Germans, we opted for the English version, and we were able to follow every single detail—it was perfect. And if you do need anything clarified, Kenny is happy to explain things again 😃. 5.00It was real fun to have this tour with our guide Kenny. He is master of entertainment. I expected to see and to hear something different, but it was much more than I could think. It was 3rd tour with Legends tours same day, but it was 100% worth it.
