Mt. Everest has been calling out to trekkers and climbers since it first appeared in telescopes of mountain surveyors, and the trails that climb through the foothills of the world's highest mountain still offer some of the most challenging trekking in Nepal. The district Solukhumbu have been extensively developed for trekking, with well-maintained trails and plentiful lodges. But The trekking route start higher and stay higher, touching the tops of some of the most famous mountain in the Himalaya.
Most trekkers fly into Lukla, climbing steeply through the mountains of Khumbu to Everest base camp or the sacred lakes at Gokyo. However, you will be better able to deal with the effect of the altitude if you walk in via the trails from Shivalaya (Near Jiri) or Tumlingtar (Near Hile). Because many treks climb above 4500 M, acute mountain sickness (AMS) is a serious risk in this region. It is essential to ascend slowly and take the recommended rest day.

Everest base camp is suitable for all kind of people who are moderately fit, not any previous adventures experience is required. Some physical fitness activities such as running, swimming and walking are also recommended before your Everest base camp trekking. Persons suffering from a Pre-existing medical flaws must seek medical advice before considering the trek.

What To Expect
Day 1: Pick up at international airport in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Day 2: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652 m), 3/4 hrs walking. Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m), 5/6 hrs walking, Day 4: Acclimatization day in Namche, Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3860m), 5/6 hrs walking, Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4410m), 5/6 hrs walking, Day 7: Second acclimatization day, Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4910m), 5/6 hrs walking, Day 9: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5160m), then return to Gorekshep. 5/6 hrs walking, Day 10: Hiking to Kalapattar (5545m) and trek down to Pheriche (4210m), 6/7 hrs walking, Day 11: Trek to Namche, 6/7 hrs walking, Day 12: Trek to Lukla, 6/7 hrs walking, Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu (1337m), Day 14: Final departure to your onward destination.

5.00We did the Base Camp Motorbike tour with Global Holiday Adventures and it did not disappoint. The trip was well organised, border crossings went smoothly, hotel accommodations were comfortable and the journey itself - unforgettable! The Global team were the most helpful, considerate and polite bunch of lads who did everything with a smile on their face - nothing was a challenge. Fantastic team, would highly recommend this trip to anyone who can ride a bike and enjoys the outdoors.
It was a dream comes true to be able to walk on the foot hills of Everest.

5.00This is my second EBC trip. The first time I was with the group. Unfortunately I couldn't compete with the younger guys so I decided this time to solo with with one Sherpa. That was much better for me. I could walk my own pace and stop any time to take picture or rest. At the end trip cost wasn't much different than with a group. Suria took care of every details of the trip that I requested or needed, I was in good hand with him. The sherpa that he appoint to walk with me was great. Actually they all great people, very attentive very polite. Since we made last moment change in Sherpa, mine didn't have good English but at the end, we manage to understand each other. At the end I would highly recommend working with Suria, great guy, he is there to help you and you and he will fulfill or your need.

5.00I just came back from a wonderful vacation planned with the help of Surya at Global Holiday adventures. Planning a holiday to Nepal from the United States can be a little intimidating, not knowing who you can trust to make the arrangements with. After reading other reviews about this company, we contacted Surya to see if he could work with us for some special requests we had. We made the right choice going with his company. He was most accommodating to our special requests. The suggestions he made as to hotels were terrific. His staff from the driver and guide who picked us up at the airport, to the guide he assigned us to in the mountains were all kind and wonderful. I can’t say enough about their helpfulness. If your dream is to go to Nepal, to the Everest Base Camp and you are sitting on the fence, it’s time to call Global Holiday Adventures, you will not be sorry.

5.00If you are looking for an adventurous trip but don’t want to worry about the details, ha Surya at Global Holiday Adventures is the person who can do this for you.We just returned from the Everest Base Camp and are overwhelmed by the whole experience ! Every day was pure excitement! I was in contact with Surya using WhatsApp.I told him what we wanted to do, including some not so ordinary requests, such as flying into the Khumba Icefall, (which I had no hope of doing.) Surya made it happen. The hotels we stayed at were beyond great with fantastic views. The staff at them could not be more accommodating.Sitting around the fireplace at the end of the day, having mint tea and popcorn, and just relaxing is something I will never forget. There was a slight chill when we sat down, but the blankets which the staff brought to us helped until the fire began to warm us up.Surya would always check with us to see that we were OK. We never had to worry about anything. Our guide Dorchi was with us throughout the adventure , directing us where to go and when. We never had to think about anything other than having a fantastic time.We enjoyed ourselves from the very first day until Surya dropped us off at the airport to catch our flights home. With the help of Surya, we have made unforgettable friends and memories which will last for a lifetime.

5.00We are very happy with this experience! The organisational aspects were treated in a very professional way and we didn't have to worry about anything than enjoying our trekking. The guide was friendly, supportive and very professional at the same time, and both him and the agency have been always ready to answer our questions or provide new solutions when needed. The experience in itself was a little demanding in terms of energy and having somebody taking care of all the aspects like lodging, meals, tickets and porterà for the luggage has always been a relief. Great job Global Adventure!
