"Saroj, our trek organizer, was phenomenal! Prioritizing comfort and safety, he made our Everest Base Camp trek unforgettable. His willingness to share knowledge of the area, history, and culture was so appreciated, and his attention to individual needs and good humor were spot on. A shoutout too, to the incredible porters and guides who made our trek possible! Carrying heavy loads, they were the backbone of our journey. Always there with encouragement, a smile, and a steadying hand when you needed it most. Their dedication and warmth are truly inspiring! Dhanyawad!

The trek makes it's way steadily upwards on well maintained trails along a mountain fringed river valley through farms and pine forests then above the tree line to the glacial morraine of Everest Base Camp at 5365 m. The trek is physically challenging though the gradual ascent allows time to sufficiently acclimatize . Saroj was careful to check how every individual trekker was coping every day and quickly reorganized suitable care, schedules and accompanying porters for any one who needed to drop back. This close customer care made an enormous difference especially during the more difficult higher reaches of the trek_ I highly recommend him and the company. The guides and porters were unfailingly helpful and polite.

  • A lifetime dream come true - Everest Base Camp and More (Kala Patter)

Nepal has captivated my whole being! The whole trip was so memorable, we had the best of everything from food accommodation, guides, porters to the best weather. The views were stunning with such clear weather and not one day of rain. I expected some days of poor weather (experience from a previous trip 2 yrs ago) but we were so so lucky that it all fell into place so smoothly. If I did it again, I would definitely pack less clothing as we had options to wash our clothes on acclimatization days. Even though this was the peak season we did not feel that the crowds were tripping over us. Sometimes the tea houses got full (mainly at the last stops in Gorakshep and Dingboche). The price we paid was well worth every penny and more. The amount of help and support from the Beyond the Limits staff was incredible. We had changing plans that unfolded along the way with our rather large group of 11 and they all took it in their stride to make sure everyone was accompanied and well taken care of. Saroj the Director and CEO was with us through out taking care of all the loose ends and his main guides Sera and Ang Bhai did justice were just superb!

  • Ginny Bond 60th Birthday Non-trekking Tour Coordinator

Being unable to trek any great distance I joined my wife Ginny on her 60th birthday trek as observer and coordinator where required. What a great decision. I was last in Nepal 47 years ago and it was fascinating to see the changes in the country. Katmandu has become a huge city but retains its charm and heritage. Once one gets into the mountains it is often like turning back time. Most importantly the Nepalese are still the wonderful and welcoming people that I remember. And this applies especially to Beyond the Limits - Saroj and team could not have been more helpful - both before and during the trip. Although I travelled with the group when possible the intermediate transfers by horse and helicopter meant I was able to also enjoy some of the classic scenes/events. Everest View Hotel is a must stay venue which probably has some of the best views of the Khumbu Range. Everest, as always, hiding behind other 8000mt peaks in the background. Just as trekking to Everest Base Camp is a once in a lifetime experience, the helicopter flight to ECB was equally iconic. And Beyond the Limits were able to organise, staff and manage the climbing of the Lobuche Peak by my son Luke and partner Jess. What a side trip for them!! All made possible by the hard work and planning by Beyond the Limits : from being individually met at the airport to the choice of accommodation and of Sherpa guides and porters - all were first rate. These guys made the trip so much easier for the trekkers whilst I was privileged to have Ang Bhai Sherpa as my personal guide through out - a kinder more gentle and caring man one could not imagine. Bucket list? Nahh - I’m going again!!

most incredible experience, so grateful for Saroj and Biplop for their expertise and ease in the booking process. Sera, my guide was amazing throughout the entire trip and Khadka was a fantastic porter. The experience is something I will remember and be so grateful for my entire life. Even throughout the turmoil of the protests in Kathmandu and flight cancellations Saroj did everything he could in order to get us home safely. Thank you!

  • Beautiful Trek in the Himalayas

I just finished the 12-day Everest Base Camp trek with our super guide Sera and wear Khadka, everything went very well, Sera was taking care of my friend and I, adapting to our walking pace, taking breaks regularly to allow us to fully appreciate the scenery and regain our strength during the more difficult passages. Our stay came at a time when there were demonstrations by Gen Z against the government, blocking the whole country. Saroj who runs the trekking agency was very good advice on the safety instructions to adopt when returning to Kathmandu. We were also stuck in Lukla for 5 days when we left for Kathmandu because of the weather that did not allow the planes to depart, and the temporary closure of the airport in Kathmandu because of the tense political situation, and Saroj did everything to get us evacuated from Lukla as soon as possible by helicopter. A very big thank you to him and his team for their valuable help in this unprecedented situation, which allowed us to return home as quickly as possible and safely. I highly recommend this agency that organized this superb trek in the Himalayas, where we were able to discover the wonders of this region, the local culture and meet extraordinary people who made our stay unforgettable. Thank you very much Saroj, Sera and Khadka!

Saroj, his team and his guides went above and beyond to keep us safe and comfortable during our EBC Trek. From the moment our plane touched down in Kathmandu, to the day we flew off, Saroj and his team was there to receive us and guide us every step of the way. His team’s hospitality and warmth extends into the khumbu valley, where his guide and porters really went above and beyond to get us good and comfortable accommodations, and shared with us so much about their beautiful sherpa history and culture. All in all, my wife and I strongly recommend Beyond the Limits for a top-notch and affordably priced trekking experience. I looked for Saroj after a friend of mine recommended me to Saroj having done 6 treks in Nepal with Beyond the Limits (BTL). After this trip, it’s not hard to see why my friend revisited Nepal so many times, and each time always with BTL! Truly a great trekking experience with them that we strongly recommend!

ily members who encouraged me throughout the journey. When a few of us decided not to climb down and opted for a helicopter ride instead, Saroj promptly organized everything without a hitch. In instances where unexpected obstacles arose, such as flight cancellations, Saroj handled them swiftly and efficiently, minimizing any disruptions to our journey. Even after the trek concluded, Saroj continued to take care of us by arranging a memorable farewell dinner and presenting us with certificates for completing the trek. I wholeheartedly recommend Beyond the Limits Trekking and Expedition to anyone considering this trek. Saroj Neupane and his team's professionalism, dedication, and genuine care for their clients truly set them apart. Thank you for an unforgettable experience beyond the limits!

  • Amazing trip made extra special by Beyond the Limits!

    - Review from Tripadvisor

We booked our trip through Beyond the Limits because they were highly recommended to us, and we're so glad that we did! In the months leading up to our trek, we got all the info we needed from the company which was clear and succinct. Saroj also took the time to respond to our barrage of queries on What's App and email, and he did video calls with us which was not easy with our loud and excitable group!! On arrival, the pickups from the airport were efficient and warm (the garland was a special welcoming touch). Saroj also took the time to go with me for a great cup of coffee (something I was dying for on arrival). This was my first experience of the limitless hospitality we would be shown by Beyond the Limits over the next two weeks... The sightseeing day in KTM was nicely paced, and the pre-briefing was comforting and informative. Our duffels arrived precisely when we were told they would. All of this was so reassuring at a point when we were mostly full of nerves!!! The day of departure was eventful, with our flights (and many others) cancelled due to weather. Fortunately Beyond the Limits handled the situation efficiently, and in no time we had two helicopters to whisk us upward to the mountains!!! The Trek itself was awesome. Not only was the scenery magical, but the great team convened by Beyond the Limits just added to that magic. The porters and guides were extremely friendly, and made us feel like family. They were patient and calm, and I quickly fell into step with the "meditation pace" (seriously, this was a game changer for me, and if left to my own devices, I would have tired myself on the daily). Each day was a pleasure with the guides. We shared meals and snacks, jokes and stories, both on the trail and in the tea houses. Really, we felt like a solid unit, like a family, with the Beyond the Limits team, and this played a huge part in all of us getting safely to the top and back down again. You wouldn't typically get this with other tour companies...but its a guarantee with Beyond the Limits. Saroj effortlessly organised helicopter flights down for those who weren't up to the walk back, changing arrangements without fuss or fluster. All in all, we had a successful, safe, and truly rewarding experience and this was largely due to the efforts of Saroj and his team at Beyond the Limits. I would recommend this company to anyone in a heartbeat, and I already have done so to my colleagues in the Netherlands. Don't hesitate with these guys... Book with confidence, and feel the love!!!
