Had an absolutely amazing experience trekking to Everest Base Camp with Alpine Ramble Trek, made even more memorable by our incredible guide, Sagan, and our wonderful porter, Sanjay. Sagan is simply amazing — energetic, positive, encouraging, fun, and honestly, crazily fun! He is incredibly knowledgeable and took such good care of us throughout the trek. He always made sure we ate well, rested well, and stayed motivated even during the toughest days. His best line was: “Always think positive.” And with that mindset and encouragement, we successfully made it to Everest Base Camp! A special shoutout as well to Sanjay — the most good-looking Nepal “oppa” 😆. Quiet and shy, but always greeting us with his brightest smile. He made sure our bags safely reached each accommodation and looked after us in his own thoughtful way throughout the journey. Importantly, also a huge thank to Dil, whom we made the booking with. From the beginning, he was responsive, patiently answering all our questions and assisting us before departure and even after we landed in Nepal. They all made this trek not just achievable, but unforgettable. Highly recommended!

From the time they picked us up at Kathmandu airport, Alpine Ramble Treks was attentive to our needs. Our guide, Sujal, was friendly and knowledgeable, and our two porters (my daughter and I each hired one, which I recommend, if you can) were a pleasure to walk with. EBC is a challenging trek, and some accommodations let you know you’re roughing it—especially as you climb in elevation. But Alpine Rambler did a good job finding us lodging and meals. One stand out among the lodges was the View Point Lodge in Pangboche.

My dad and I had an incredible trek to Everest Base Camp with our guide Suyal, and our two porters Dawa and Uttra. Communication was clear from the start about our itinerary, and they were flexible with our plans. We were provided with necessary equipment before starting the trek. Suyal supported us every step of the way, and clearly communicated the plan for each day and what to expect. The hike itself was challenging, but the organization and support from all of Alpine Ramble treks made it such a positive and rewarding experience.
