Highly recommend Himalayan Adventure Trek for an experience of a lifetime! Our guide, Prakash, was professional, encouraging, and supportive throughout the challenging trek. He is highly knowledgeable of the area and provided fun facts, tips and recommendations. His support along with our porters made it possible for us to complete the trek and made it enjoyable. The trekking schedule was right on point - allowed for adequate rest after each day’s trek and acclimatization. Likewise, all the logistics (food, accommodations, park entrance fees) were successfully handled by our guide and porters - we didn’t have any issues or experienced delays.

There are experiences that stay with you forever —and reaching Everest Base Camp is one of them-but what truly made this journey exceptional was our incredible team from Himalayan Adventures Our guide, Prakash, was nothing short of outstanding. His knowledge, calm leadership, and constant encouragement carried us through every challenge the mountain threw our way. On the hardest days, when the altitude tested every step, he reminded us why we started and kept us focused, safe, and motivated. A special thank you to Mingmar and Koji, our amazing porters-true heroes of this journey. They carried more than just our gear; they carried our spirits. Always smiling, always supportive, and incredibly strong, they inspired us to keep going even when it felt impossible. Together, this team created an experience that was not only successful but deeply meaningful and unforgettable. If you're considering the trek to Everest Base Camp, I cannot recommend Himalayan Adventures enough. With a team like this beside you, you're in the very best hands. Endless gratitude to Prakash, Mingmar, and Koji for helping turn this dream into reality. Five stars all the way!

Our experience trekking to Everest Base Camp would not have been the same without Prakash, along with our incredible porters, Minmar and Kagi. From start to finish, Prakash proved to be an exceptional guide, knowledgeable, attentive, and deeply committed to making sure we were safe every step of the way. His calm presence and constant awareness of our well-being gave us confidence, especially during the more challenging parts of the trek. Minmar and Kagi were nothing short of amazing. They carried our belongings so we could still enjoy some of the comforts of home, which made a huge difference on such a challenging trek. Despite the demanding conditions, they maintained such a positive attitude every single day, Together, they made an unforgettable team. Their kindness, encouragement, and professionalism turned a challenging trek into an inspiring and joyful experience. We are beyond grateful for everything they did for us and would highly recommend them to anyone considering the Everest Base Camp trek.

This was our third trip with Badri from Himalaya Adventure, and once again, he exceeded all expectations. After previously trekking to Gokyo Ri, Chola Pass, and Annapurna Base Camp in previous years, we entrusted Badri with our May 2025 Everest Base Camp adventure – and it was nothing short of exceptional. Badri is the kind of guide you hope for in the Himalayas: knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful, and incredibly resourceful. He goes beyond just guiding – he orchestrates the entire journey to ensure everything runs smoothly, safely, and enjoyably. What stood out most on this trip was his ability to adapt quickly to changing mountain conditions. He managed to get us a helicopter upgrade, saving us precious time in the airport and even rebooked our Lukla flight to an earlier day when he saw good weather ahead – a move that saved us from delays due to the region’s notoriously unpredictable flights. His connections, experience, and attention to detail make all the difference. With Badri, we always felt cared for, prepared, and in good hands. If you're considering a trekking experience in Nepal, look no further than Badri and Himalaya Adventure. His passion for the mountains and commitment to his clients shine through every step of the way. We can't recommend him highly enough and are already thinking about our next trek with him. Thank you, Badri, for another incredible journey!

This is our second time travelling Himalyan Adventure Trek, the first on the Mardi Himal trek, and recently completed the EBC and Gokyo Lakes. Prakash was our tour guide and was great, very knowledgeable, and really made the experience. Bhagwat (company owner) is very quick to reply to emails, and always keen to help. Would strongly recommend travelling with them.

Excellent organized trip for a very reasonable price. Perfect timing for the 3 tours, with rest days, sightseeing, and flights. Super nice accommodations throughout. Very flexible with special requests. Great staff, drivers, porters, and my guide Bharat Simkhada, who accompanied me the whole trip and was very knowledgeable, helpful, and fun👍 Very personalized with everything, including a special farewell dinner. Very easy communication through WhatsApp with great response time. I would always prefer and recommend a local company instead of the big international ones. Thank you for everything, Bhagwat

We recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek as a family of 3, including our 12-year-old, and we cannot thank Himalayan Adventure and Tours, Prakash, Bhagwat and Migma enough for the incredible experience. From start to finish, the team was absolutely phenomenal. Trekking to EBC is no small feat—especially with a child—but the team took exceptional care of us throughout. They were patient, attentive, and constantly encouraging, even on the most challenging days. Their positive energy and calm reassurance kept us going when the altitude and terrain tested our limits. What really stood out was how they relentlessly resolved every query and concern, no matter how big or small. From planning logistics to dietary needs and pace adjustments, they handled it all with such care and professionalism. It never felt transactional—it felt like we were traveling with friends who genuinely cared about our well-being. Thanks to them, our EBC trek turned into a life-changing family adventure.

We went in December on the EBC trek with Himalayan Adventure and had an absolute blast and wonderful memories of Nepal -- many thanks to Bhagwat, Prakash, and Mingma. Together, they took excellent care of us from Day 1. Not only was Bhagwat super patient and detailed with all of our questions before the trip (e.g., about gears, cellular/wifi signals along the trek, temperatures and seasons...etc.), he also took the time to meet us at the hotel on Day 1 and hosted a briefing session together with our excellent guide, Prakash, to answer any remaining questions, checked our gears, and made sure everything is in order & ready to go. Prakash is very experienced and knowledgeable of the treks, history, culture, and people. He is a walking encyclopedia on anything and everything Nepal, Everest, Annapurna and much more. During the trek, he made sure we were well informed about what to expect as we pushed forward, constantly kept a close eye out on our conditions and physiological reactions to high altitude, and kept a close watch on our hydration levels. We were in very good hands and I felt very safe along the way. Mingma too, partnered with Prakash, each keeping an eye on us along the way. Although for unforeseen reasons, we had to change our trekking plans, Prakash and Mingma were troopers and continued to look after us with care, hospitality, kindness, and professionalism until we were safely back in Kathmandu. I would certainly book with Himalayan Adventure again for any Nepal trips -- highly recommended!

Bhagwat's team were the utmost professionals. They were very responsive to all questions and requests before the trip. During the trip, I had a medical emergency and they arranged the emergency evacuation and hospitalization and helped with my insurance claim. Bhagwat also visited me in the hospital and helped us arrange new plans after the incident. We were very fortunate to have found him and his team. If we ever return to Nepal, we would look for this company.

I cannot recommend this company enough! with Himalayan Adventure Kathmandu, this is our 2nd trip with them, we did ABC in 2022. They took care of everything from accommodations to meals to travel within Nepal. We didn't have to worry about anything. Bhagwat Simkhada the head organizer, is very responsive to questions and concerns, with out his help we couldn't make this trip from the time you first reach out expressing interest through the end of your time in Nepal. He easily addressed anything we were unsure about and did it in a timely manner. Our guides, Prakash & his team members, are amazing!! He was extremely personable and knowledgeable, giving us endless entertainment, information about the places we were trekking through. The experience was worth every penny paid, not just due to the incredible views, but also to the dedication and professionalism of whole team provided throughout. I look forward to visiting Nepal again to do another trek in the future.
