  My wife and I went for the Everest Base Camp with Santa as our guide and Mr G as our porter. One moment that stood out to us was when we were on the way to Gorak Shep, Mr G went ahead to drop our bags off at the guesthouse and returned to save us from our day bags as we were not used to hiking at such high altitudes. Both Santa and Mr G took extremely good care of us during our 11 day trip and made sure we were safe especially when we had to hike through certain “off road” areas. We would not have made it to Everest Base Camp without them! We were also liaising with Ram to organise our trip to Nepal. Thanks to Ram’s excellent planning and responsiveness, everything went smoothly and we were able to enjoy ourselves. Would highly recommend going with Sherpa Expedition! Jared

  Had a fantastic trip doing the three passes trek! Great communication with Ram about all the logistics ahead of time and very flexible to meet at our hotel late at night to prep us when our flight got delayed into Kathmandu. Our guide Pasang was very helpful and attentive and I am really thrilled to have had a knowledgeable guide to help navigate, particularly in trickier areas like the glacier crossings. We were easily able to flex our trip to shorten by a day to fly out a day sooner and our guide Pasang was happy to adjust according to our needs! We had a great experience and cannot recommend this company enough. Thanks for a great trip!

  Trekking to Everest Base Camp was a dream come true, and it wouldn’t have been possible—or nearly as meaningful—without our incredible guide, Pasang. From the very first day, he treated us not just as clients, but like family. His deep knowledge of the mountains, his calm presence, and his constant encouragement helped us push through the challenges with confidence. There were moments on the trail that tested our strength, physically and emotionally. But Pasang was always there—with a warm smile, a helping hand, and a kind word when we needed it most. He shared stories of the Himalayas, local culture, and his own experiences that made us feel deeply connected to the journey and the people of Nepal. Every detail of the trek was thoughtfully planned, and we always felt safe, supported, and inspired. Standing at Everest Base Camp was an emotional moment—tears in our eyes, hearts full—and we knew we owed it to Pasang’s guidance and care. Thank you, Pasang, for leading us through the mountains and leaving us with memories that will stay in our hearts forever. We are endlessly grateful.

  We felt so fortunate that we booked this adventure with Sherpa Expedition & Trekking. A big thank you to our guide Lakpa and porters Pasang and Neema. There is no doubt we successfully completed the EBC trek because of Lakpa's attentative and caring nature and experience. My wife wasn't feeling her best an hour into the second day and Lakpa quickly arranged a horse ride. She was able to complete the second day and arrive at the tea house safely thanks to his quick thinking. Along the trek, he supported my wife and kept a careful eye on her. He was very reassuring and didn't pressure us to speed up, instead encouraging us to take our time and trek safely. This really comforted my wife and emboldened to complete the trek of our dreams. With many years of hiking experience under our belt, we felt that this adventure could have been a walk in the park. However, we realized it was more difficult than expected (we were looking for this challenge! LOL). We're very grateful we worked with Lakpa and the porters. The altitude ended up being the biggest problem. By the end of the third day, our friend was very pale and having difficulty hiking. Lakpa ended up carrying her pack, my wife's pack, and his own. At the end of each day, Lakpa made sure we settled down and had a hearty dinner. Only after helping us arrange our breakfast for the next day did he tend to himself each night. The care and consideration from dawn to dusk was very appreciated. We felt very safe and would absolutely recommend Lakpa to anyone looking to conquer this trek. Best wishes, Ken

  We have successfully conquered EBC, Thanks to our guide Lakpa, and 2 porters Neema, & Paseng , in many ways they went above and beyond to assist us in accomplishing our mission. They even carried our day backs when we were exhausted, arranging horse rides, long hours of trekking ( worked more than 10 hours a day) , protected us when horses passing by, .arranged the best rooms possible from the tea houses….a great team from Sherpa Expedition and trekking.   The whole experience from the administration organisation of Sherpa Expeditions, to the expertise, knowledge and care of our guide, Buddha Tamang was incredible. Buddha's zest and enthusiasm and knowledge for his country, for the region was wonderful. His kind, caring approach to us was beautiful and when I became ill, he ensured I got the medical help I needed, enabling me to complete my trip successfully. Buddha organised all our lodge stays, our food, our plane out of Lukla and more! I would certainly recommend using Sherpa Expeditions again and we will be looking to book Buddha as our guide on our next trip to Nepal!

  I recently completed an incredible 12-day trek to Everest Base Camp, and I can't praise my guide Pasang and porter Kumar enough for their outstanding support throughout the journey. Pasang is an incredible guide with extensive knowledge of the region, its culture, and the best trekking practices. He kept us informed about the trail, the local culture, and the importance of acclimatization, ensuring that we stayed safe and enjoyed every moment. Kumar, our porter, was exceptional. His strength and efficiency allowed us to focus on the trek without worrying about our heavy backpacks. Despite the physical challenges on the trail, he always had a smile and an encouraging word, which motivated us to keep going. The itinerary was well-planned, giving us enough time to acclimatize and appreciate the stunning scenery. From the lush green valleys to the dramatic mountain views, every day was a new adventure. Pasang adjusted our plans when necessary, ensuring we had the best experience possible. The tea houses we stayed in were comfortable, and the meals provided were delicious and diverse. Pasang ensured we had proper nutrition and hydration throughout the trek. This trek was the adventure of a lifetime. Thanks to Pasang's expertise and Kumar's unwavering support, we not only reached Everest Base Camp but also created memories that will last forever.
