I recently completed the EBC Trek with Base Camp Adventures and had the most amazing time. The experience, the views, and the company along the way were all amazing. I started off the trek in Kathmandu with just myself and my guide, Arjun. From the very start, Arjun took fantastic care of me, making sure I had the best experience possible. Once we started hiking, we quickly went from trekker and guide, to two buddies hiking together! His 16 years of expeience became apparent at every village we visited, bringing me to the best lunch and accomodation spots. Plus it seems everyone in the mountains knows Arjun Dai! Even though I was travelling solo, I made so any great friends along the way. The views along the way were spectacular and I will recommend all my friends try to experience it at some point in their life. And I'll definitely be directing them towards Shree and Arjun and Base Camp Adventures for the best experience!

One of my best adventure holidays ever! Shiva (My BaseCamp Adventure Guide) was a big help in helping create a memory of a lifetime! I was only able to plan this trip last minute and only BaseCamp Adventure were willing to help me with solo trek. Next day I flew to Kathmandu and they were kind enough to also create a memorable mini trek for my girlfriend who joined us for 5 days. EBC + KALA PATHAR TREK One of the best 2 week experiences you can hope for. Stunning views given the dry cold climate of late december & less tourists. Everest base camp is a great place to visit and one of my most memorable experiences was simply sitting down by the glacier and soak in the 360 degree view of being surrounded by himalayas on all sides. Kala Pathar for me though was the special highlight. A notoriously difficult trek, with really (reallly really) windy conditions all day out, high altitude (5600m) and a steep last 30 minute of climb (jagged rocks strutting out). And to top it all, more than half of climbers who attempt it give up completely. We were able to finish it and oh boy! it was the most unreal few minutes of my life being in company of all the mighty snow capped himalayan giants on all sides. Another highlight being the beautiful valleys, picturesque villages & changing flora & fauna as we ascend further! GUIDE Special word for Shiva who helped me build a memory of a lifetime. He knew so much about almost everything! He was like my google on demand and I learnt so much from him. He was also instrumental in planning our ambitious EBC+Kala Pathar trek in 1 day (Actually 4 hours) and then a 35 km 1 day trek from Gorakshep to Namche Bazar the next day. For me, these 2 days (incidentally on January 1 & 2) is the best possible way to start my year and a memory that will last a lifetime. He was also handy with lots of small practial tips which helped me navigate the bitter cold, how to trek well, help me discover amazing local nepali food, connecting with other travellers and most imporantly helping enjoy and appreciate the trek much better than had I attempted it solo. SUMMARY All in all, a great 2 weeks spent. Amazing place, great memories, all made in the backdrop of majestic Everest and the sorrounding peaks. I was lucky to see 4 8000+ peaks amid crystal clear conditions. It gets really cold but frankly now I realize it made the trek more memorable than get in my way of enjoying it :) SUGGESTION Go do it. Dont think twice. Shiva is a great guide and he can help plan a trek customized to your level & comfort.

It's as good as it gets. We were surprised how great this trek is. Even in my most beautiful dreams, I didn't imagine it that way. Of course, I have to pay a lot of praise to the whole base camp team who organized everything so wonderfully. Shree, thanks for everything. Your whole team was so nice and helpful. We'll remember it for a lifetime. I also have to mention guide Shiva. He did everything great and was always professional. I hope we will come back one day.

Organized to perfection by Shree and the crew. Inspite of all the challenges due to the pandemic, it was handled admirably by everyone at Base Camp. Thanks for everything guys.

Our main aim was to avoid some of the more popular trekking routes, and this seemed to be a good alternative. And I am told by my guide that there are far less trekkers here than the Everest Base Camp trek. So we're glad we chose this option. It's quite tough though, as we regularly reached 5,000 meters, but obviously the views were spectacular. Photos really don't do justice to this area, and you really need to see it for yourself. We definitely plan to be back although we will do a different trek.
