This is a full immersion in the world of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This experience is for those who really want to delve into all aspects related to the Evo. What we will do... We start with a guided tour directly in the olive grove where you will learn the Tuscan way of pruning trees, how to recognize the different varieties of trees and their characteristics that you will find in the oil: practical experience! - Then a detailed lesson on how olive oil is extracted at the mill, what is the Italian classification of all the different quality levels of olive oil and why olive oil is so important for our health . You will also learn what is the ideal oil temperature, what type of glass to use and what is the best way to do an olive oil tasting. - After the theory, a blind guided tasting of 3 different types of EVO will follow: what is the professional way to taste an olive oil and above all how to recognize a quality one even if you are doing a blind tasting. - Finally, a four-course home-cooked lunch with properly paired farm wines will follow.

If you’re looking for a truly authentic experience, this is the one for you. This family farm provided an unforgettable setting to learn about and taste incredible olive oil. We are SO looking forward to getting our shipment of oil made from freshly harvested olives!

All of it. Fabrizio is a gracious host. He introduces you to all the residents of the farm even the 4 legged ones. Then a tour of the trees, the kinds of Olives, the rest of the produce they grow. His wife wad teaching a pasta course while he then took us to the olive oil tasting room. First he tells you about the differences of olive oils, then shows you how to taste it, then he proceeds to give you 3 different oils to taste. Then he serves you a 3 course meal he made. You eat it outside facing the beautiful countryside. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it.
