Discover the highlights in the area on this exclusive "best of tour" that includes the most requested by our guests! We depart later to let you sleep in, avoid the crowds, and see the sunset at the end of the tour.

We start with snorkeling at Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley. Hol Chan has the largest variety of species to be seen in the area and is often compared to an aquarium, while at Shark Ray Alley you get to experience a close encounter with nurse-sharks and stingrays. Watch from the boat or swim with them!

We then serve our famous Belizean buffet lunch on-board. Traditional dishes like stewed chicken and rice and beans with our Captain’s secret recipe BBQ fish! After lunch, we stop at the neighbor island Caye Caulker for approx. 1 hour of free time to explore the island, followed by a relaxed sunset cruise back to San Pedro, with ceviche being served. Open bar with local rum, vodka, gin, soft drinks and juices is included. Try the specials, rum punch and "panty rippers"!

Hol Chan Marine Reserve

Hol Chan is Mayan for "little channel" and is a natural break in the reef, which has always been a very productive fishing area with abundant marine life. It is open to the sea beyond the reef, so allows marine creatures to travel from the outside of the reef to the inside and vice versa. It became the first marine reserve in the entire country of Belize back in 1987 and this have led to the species to re-generate and the corals of growing unharmed. This snorkeling area has the greatest variety of marine life and coral, compared to being an "underwater zoo" - you have the chance to see all kinds of corals, fishes and even sea turtles! Over 160 species of fish and forty types of coral have been recorded in the area. The snorkeling here is minimum 45 minutes.

Recommend getting to the catamaran early to get best seating. We were there 15 minutes early from departure and we were the last ones. Ana and Charlie were wonderful hosts, very funny and attentive. The snorkeling was fantastic. We saw so many sharks, and stingrays, and a few turtles. The food was absolutely delicious. Loved the chicken, rice and beans, and the plantains. The fish was tender and flaky, but a little too salty for us. The conch civeche at sunset was a delicious end to the tour! The only con was that we didn't have enough time on Caye Caulker. Saw so many stingrays swimming near the beach areas, however we didnt see any seahorses :( Would have loved to try the street BBQs. All in all a great trip! Thank you Ana and Charlie for keeping us all laughing!

  • Snorkeling, Rum Punch, and Sunset Sailing. A Great Adults-Oriented Experience

Great day on the water and one of the highlights of our time in Belize as part of our adult-only family trip. The snorkeling was exceptional. We swam with eagle rays, stingrays, nurse sharks, green turtles, and saw lobsters, trumpet fish, and even a large barracuda. Both Hol Chan and Shark & Ray Alley delivered exactly what you hope for, clear water, abundant marine life, and plenty of time in the water to really enjoy it. Charlie and Ana were phenomenal hosts. They kept the energy up all day, made sure everyone felt comfortable, and somehow always managed to keep the cups full. The rum punch was excellent, and the ceviche hit the spot after snorkeling. To be fair, the catamaran itself is on the smaller side. With 16 guests aboard a 32-foot catamaran from the 1970s, things did feel a bit cramped at times, and the boat is definitely a little dated. That said, if you can look past the limited space and older vessel, the overall experience, the crew, and the day on the water more than make up for it. The stop in Caye Caulker was a nice break to stretch the legs and walk around for an hour before heading back. The return sail to San Pedro was the perfect ending, calm seas, great music, and a beautiful sunset that made the ride back feel extra special. If you’re looking for a relaxed but well-run catamaran tour with great snorkeling, great crew, and great vibes, this one is hard to beat. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend! This was such a fun day. We had plenty of time to snorkel and swim with sharks. We also got to explore another island and see stingrays. The tour guides were energetic, friendly, and kept us safe and on-time. Lunch was fresh and the drinks were flowing all day. We sailed back during sunset, and it was the most relaxing way to end the day. Such a great way to experience marine life and the beautiful island!

Trip was very well put together and staff was courteous and professional. However a large group with very small kids was apart of the excursion and this turned this beautiful trip into a trip filled with anxiety and difficulty. I would stress giving other passengers the option to participate in this or offer alternative times/days going forward as that group put a significant strain on the remaining passengers that were there.

My family and I had an absolutely amazing time. 10/10 would recommend. Anna and Charles/Charlie kept you entertained, kept the drinks flowing, and the food on board was amazing. The snorkeling was breathtaking and watching the sharks being feed was an amazing experience. It was easy to get to the dock to take off from our hotel. Just amazing overall
