  Lauren was easy to work with - highly recommend. I reached out to book something a little different than was available on the website and she replied quickly with the perfect option. Scheduling was quick and smooth. My father (in his 70s) and my son (nearly 10) had an awesome time riding in North Boulder with Lauren. She provided photos and videos (so fun!), with a total positive attitude. They were plenty tired when it was over!

  This ride was one of the highlights of our time in Boulder. Lauren was an incredible guide, really more like a host or friend showing you her town. All the upfront coordination was seamless and she had bikes to our sizes ready to go. She chose a perfect ride for our abilities, challenging but doable, with great views. She took amazing pictures (no idea how she did that while biking!). She was lovely to talk to and get to know. I will definitely choose her on my next trip to Boulder!

  Our guide Lauren was amazing!! My 13 year old son and I are athletic but not experienced mountain bikers, but Lauren gave us tips, and took us on a trip we will NEVER forget!! She made sure we were challenged without wanting to give up and gave us enough adventure to keep us talking about it a month later. It was such a rush navigating the rocks and roots and gaining speed and confidence as the ride progressed. We rode in Boulder with beautiful views the whole way!! This is a memory my son and I will share forever! I highly recommend Lauren and P.E.D.A.L.!!

  Had an absolute blast on our trip with Lauren! I called in advance and I could tell Lauren was very experienced and would lead an awesome trip. She was extremely easy to communicate with via email, phone and text making sure every detail was taken care of before our trip. I was a little nervous going on a mountain biking trip with my dad given our different skill levels. She knew the ins and outs of the trails perfectly to lead us on a fun, yet challenging (in all the good ways) ride for over 3 hours. The views were unreal. At the end we were grinning from ear to ear and "spent" which was exactly what we were looking for. At the end Lauren had delicious lunch to eat at the base of the trail. The whole drive home we just kept talking about how perfect the day was. We rented the top of the line bikes and those were cool to get to use as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend riding with Lauren/Pedal MTB tours while in town visiting Boulder! She can custom tailor the ride to any skill level it seems. If you need more information definitely give her a call and she can walk you through everything. Can't wait to visit boulder in the future and do it again!

  Lauren and her team took fantastic care of our large group of 15 beginner mountain bikers! Great hospitality, fantastic equipment, seamless logistics, and some incredible views. Can’t wait to go back!

  I'm so glad I decided to book with PEDAL! I've never tried mountain biking before so was a bit nervous in the beginning. Steve was my guide and he was great. He was easy to be with, and he was able to assess my skills and adjust based one what he was seeing. Taught me some great tips and techniques on the mountain bike. We lucked out and had beautiful weather! Saw so many animals during our ride, bunnies, prairie dogs and different birds. The scenery was beautiful. So much to take in. I liked Steve's riding challenges that he would give me from time to time during the ride. The snacks and food were a great addition. Would def. use this company again. I also got to meet Lauren before the ride. What a lovely lady! Can tell both these guys are super passionate about riding. Thanks again guys!

  This was a such a great experience! Lauren was unable to guide me, but Steve did an amazing job of teaching me the basics of mountain biking. He always made sure I was doing okay and showed me beautiful views of the mountains. I was so glad that I did this and have a new respect for mountain biking because of it! I will definitely use PEDAL again for any future excursions!

  Must do if looking for a guided mountain bike ride in Boulder area! Lauren was fantastic. She has fun energy, knowledgeable of area and makes riding easy despite level of experience. Amazing view outside the city. Totally recommend it.
