Il Cenacolo
Leonardo's masterpiece, the Last Supper,one of the world's greatest painted masterpieces occupies the end wall of the previous refectory of the XVth century Domenican Monastery. Painted by Leonardo between 1495 and 1498 portrays the Apostoles seated together with Jesus when Jesus announced that one of them would betray him. The Disciples' emotion transpiresfrom their gestures, mouvements and faces and contrasts with the apparent immobility of Christ who dominates the centre of a rigously symmetrical composition in perfect perspective. The painting was miraculously untouched by the August 1943 bombings which damaged the nearby cloister and part of the church.

1.00The tour operator changed the time of our tour 15 minutes before it supposed to start. We had a confirmed reservation with a time and we were unable to chahge our plans 15 minutes before our confirmed start time

5.00The whole experience was excellent. Maria was so knowledgeable and provided a full guided tour of the church and grounds as well as viewing of The Last Supper. It was just the 3 of us in our group which made it very personal. We would highly recommend it.
A Must Do but avoid 1st Sunday of the month!

4.00We bought tickets for 2 Nov without knowing that the first Sunday of the month, guides are not allowed by the Cathedral to enter with the groups. It would have been helpful to be informed in advance so we can book alternative dates. The guide had to give us the brief before we entered. But it was still the highlight of our visit! Anyone who visits Milan should not miss this.

5.00Be there at least 30min prior to your entry time to find your guide & have your tickets ready. The visit to Da Vinci Last Supper Mural was just breathtaking. It will leave you with goosebumps. The tour guide, Mariagrazia was brilliant. She was so incredibly informative & helpful. Viator even called us to say the tour guide was waiting for us. Fabulous service. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00Maria Gracia was an exceptional tour guide who I highly recommend. She arrived early, had our names on a board, and efficiently guided us through the process. The headsets were great, and her certification was evident throughout the tour. Maria possesses an extensive knowledge of history and effectively narrated the tour while also answering our questions. We didn’t feel rushed during the tour and had a wonderful experience. The tour lasted approximately an hour.
