While we didn't go “far” we did get to see some of the most popular sites during the tour. Easy for those who are not cyclists.

Good fun trip around the Intramuros district of Manila by bike. Our knowledgeable and fun host made the experience interesting and gave us good insights to the history of the City and the Philippines. Group size was good, and the Bambike team and the locals were fantastic in helping the group navigate the traffic throughout the 2.5 hour experience. Well worth doing if visiting Manila for a few days.

I had an amazing time with Bamboo Ecotours in Intramuros! Our guide Josh was awesome, super friendly, funny, and full of cool stories that made the history come alive. The tour was relaxed but really informative, and Josh made sure everyone felt engaged. Highly recommend if you want to explore the city in a fun and meaningful way!

Great tour of the old city with our fabulous guide Justine. He made history alive, relevant and thoughtful. We were 2 adults and 4 teens. Not one complaint from the teens, only smiles and interest. Definitely recommend. Expect bumpy cobblestones on some parts and hence some delayed soreness for old bones but oh so worth it. They provide water, a very welcome cold towel and ice cream at the end of the tour. Don’t miss this on your Manila visit

Done two bike trips on 21 and 22 Feb 2026. Both Justin and Josh (the guides) were nice, very informative and fun. This is more a sightseeing tour with a bike than a real bike tour. Bike were in good conditions. Biking in intramuros was safe. Tours highly recommended. Well done!!

Intramuros is one city within another, so having the opportunity to cycle through its main historical sites is what I call sustainable active tourism. Fun way to learn!! It also helps local communities producing bamboo bikes. There are special bikes for families!!!

This is a fantastic way to learn about Intramuros and its rich history from the 16th century to the present. Paolo, our guide, is very well versed and informative, but most importantly, he is enthusiastic about the Intramuros story, and history in general. He guided us through the good, the bad, and the ugly history of this very significant site. The use of the unique bamboo bicycles is inspired. This is not a rigorous romp through the woods, but rather a sedate, yet efficient, means of navigating the narrow streets of Intramuros to get to the many and various important sites. If you are looking to learn more about history of Manila and the Philippines in general, this is an excellent way to do it.

Loved this tour, the bikes are super comfy and cool made from bamboo. They have all different styles of bikes too. I prefer biking over walking. It's less tiring, the breeze is nice, and you get to see more. All flat roads and there's an extra safety guy riding with you who stops traffic for the group to pass. Our tour guide ChiChi was great! Very informative and even answering questions about current controversial topics and we learned a ton. Thanks ChiChi!
