We came here on our trip to La Fortuna and it was hands down the most special part of our trip! The experience they created for us was one we will cherish for a lifetime. The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect.

Arenal Sunset is an unparalleled place in Fortune. Ivannia and Greivin are great hosts and treat you like part of their family. I traveled with my friends from Montana and we were fortunate two days staying with them. In his restaurant the experience was unique because of the personalized treatment we received. The Quality of food and organic products on your farm make this experience unforgettable. One part we particularly loved was the wood-burning kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. Also the Peaceful Mood with sounds of nature and animals that we could observe in the garden next to the restaurant. Arenal Sunset is a place I recommend 100 percent, not only for the quality of the attention, but for the special people that are Ivannia and Greivin. Luis Picado Montana, USA.

Experienced this volcanic hot springs town on a yoga retreat with 6 women. Ivannia prepared a traditional cosado meal and was by far, the best we had in town. Accommodations were quaint and clean. The sounds of the forest from the yoga deck are most memorable. When I close my eyes, I can transport myself back to that mystical place.

Such a warm welcome from the owners, lovely people! Walking through the garden with all their knowledge was super interesting. Then picking ingredients from the garden to cook a delicious meal with their instructions:) Fresh ingredients, they showed a great variety of traditional meals, we cooked super delicious chicken and fish with taco’s and a gray bean mix. We ended up eating with the owners and were almost not able to leave because we had such an amazing time! There were also animals to spot like the red eyed frog. The owners are very knowledgeable about these animals, they created a friendly environment for them, that’s why it is so easy to spot them at the restaurant (more easy than with a forest tour;)) They also keep bees and produce their own honey. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5, the food was amazing, especially the chips and papaya. Also we really enjoyed the honey demonstration and bought tons of honey to bring home. The service was friendly and kind, which was reassuring without a translator.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The Family was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel right at home. The food was exquisite—delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. We hope to come back soon.

Our visit to Arenal Puesta del Sol was unforgettable! The chefs, Ivania and Greibin, amazed us with generous portions of fresh, tropical dishes that exceeded expectations. The experience of making tortillas by hand and enjoying them fresh off the griddle was a delightful, authentic touch. Adding to this, the trapiche demonstration let us taste the sweetness of fresh sugarcane. Watching vibrant toucans up close and a stunning sunset behind Arenal Volcano made the evening magical. A must-visit in La Fortuna!
