Plaza de la Marina is a plaza in the Centro district of the city of Malaga, Spain. It constitutes one of the nerve points of the city, since two important axes intersect here: the Alameda Principal and the Paseo del Parque with some of the busiest streets in the historic center, such as Calle Molina Lario, and with the main access to the Port from Malaga.
Malaga Cathedral
One of the jewels of the Spanish Renaissance looks out to sea. History, art and faith are manifested together in the Holy Cathedral Church Basilica of the Incarnation of Malaga. Its extensive history comes from the Greater Mosque on which it was built. From there, the result of its different construction stages and styles make it a majestic Renaissance-Baroque Cathedral with a Gothic vocation. Delve into its interior, see its beauty, enjoy its unique “siloesca” structure and the great artistic and heritage wealth it treasures. Don't miss any detail of its catechetical Capilla Mayor, its magnificent canvas of the Virgen del Rosario created by Alonso Cano, its popular Virgen de los Reyes or its old Gothic altarpiece of Santa Bárbara. Go to the choir and feel the spirituality of one of the main sculptural ensembles of the Spanish Baroque.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Malaga Expert Tour – Eco Tuk Tuk , led by the brilliant local guide Adriano. From the very beginning, his passion for Málaga was obvious and genuinely infectious. He brought the city’s layered history to life—starting from Roman and Moorish roots, then diving into the Industrial Revolution era, which was especially fascinating. Adriano explained how Málaga once became one of Spain’s most important industrial cities, driven by steel, textiles, and trade, and how that boom shaped the city’s social structure, neighborhoods, and even the contrasts between wealth and working-class life that can still be felt today. Riding through the city in the eco tuk tuk made it easy to connect the history to real places—old factories, port areas, and districts transformed by industrial growth and later decline. Adriano did a great job explaining how these economic shifts influenced modern Málaga, its urban renewal, and its cultural identity. To top it off, the football stories added a perfect local touch. Hearing about Málaga CF, the role of La Rosaleda, and how football became a unifying force for the city—especially during tough economic times—really tied everything together. It felt less like a tour and more like being shown Málaga through the eyes of someone who deeply understands its history, struggles, and pride. If you’re looking for a private tour that blends local history, socio-economic insight, and football culture, this experience is outstanding. Highly recommended

Juan Luis was an excellent Tuk Tuk driver and guide. He explained tons of information about Malaga that we would never have known, unless learned from a local. Great comprehensive tour in one hour.

Only a stop to take pictures. Not enough information on where we pass very quickly. I advise you to take the double decker bus, friends were really satisfied with their city tour. Several stops and lots of information.
