If you’re interested in seeing some of Singapore’s elusive wildlife, there is not better way than going on a guided walk with Untamed Paths. As a family, we have been on multiple trips with Dennis and Noelle: intertidal day, intertidal night, and a couple of rainforest night walks. Each time, the tours exceeded our expectations. Untamed Paths are experienced, and not only do they have sharp eyes (we had zero chance of spotting most of the animals they found, such as snakes up in trees, moths, frogs, scorpions, mousedeer, sambar deer, to name just a few!) but also possess a wealth of knowledge about the wildlife we encountered, their habitats, human impacts and active research related to the animals. They were also extremely patient with our little one, adjusting their questions and comments to ensure he was included and engaged throughout each of the walks. They have a healthy respect for the animals and the environment, while also ensuring that we were able to safely observe them. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Singapore and joining them on more tours!

Excellent tour of the rain forest at night. The guide Noelle is very pleasant and knowledgeable of the fauna in the area. Not for the squeamish for you might encounter snakes, biting bugs etc. and it's quite dark but really cool if these things don't bother you. Highly recommend if you want to see nocturnal animals.

We went on the Sungei Buloh tour with Sai and Gabriel, who were really friendly and easy going. Our guides were knowledgeable and clearly passionate. We really appreciate their effort to seek out interesting wildlife and the little fun facts they shared. Got to see a side of Singapore that I never knew existed, and Sai and Gabriel ensured that we had an enjoyable experience and went out of their way to show us some critters they thought we would like.

We walked with Den through the rainforest and saw so many creatures we would have never had a chance of finding on our own - mouse deer, sambar deer, colugo, a viper, a couple different species of bronze back snakes, frogs, toads, lizards, and scorpions. It was incredible to see so much local wildlife and to have Den’s expertise and knowledge in helping us to understand what we were seeing. It was a very peaceful and insightful way to spend the evening.

Saw a bunch of snakes, leaf insect and other wild animals in the mangroves. Would recommend for anyone looking to see real snakes up close in their natural habitat! The snakes are not dangerous though. Safe and walk is done in the boardwalk!
