I will pick you up from the hotel in the morning at 9:00am After a short briefing, I will bring you first to visit around the city to see all of the France colonial buildings in Battambang and visit the real local market ,status of lok ta dambong kra nhoung ( The symbol of BATTAMBANG) and after that we will continue to our next destination

Wat Samrong Knong

Now we come to visit Wat samrong knong This place we will see the old Buddhist temple that was build more than 300 years ago and it used to be a prison during the pol pot regime and I will spend some time here to explain you about pol pot regime and Religion and it is possible for you to see The Well of Shadows ( killing field) you can see some skulls and bones of the victims were killed during the pol pot regime there was 10008 of peoples were killed here and after that we will taking a few hours to visit the small villages and countryside to explore the local livelihood are living around that small villages as visit the family are making bamboo sticky rice, other family are making rice paper for spring roll,family are making dry banana we are possible to test them as snacks samples on the way and after that visit the fish paste Market (Cambodia cheese) have a short walk around that small market .

Nicely paced tour. It was great to visit small local businesses without a bus full of people. It made it feel more personal. Our guide was exceptional as well. Friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Great day exploring Battambang with Mr Bun. We spent the morning visiting the local wholesale market and villages, Mr Bun introduced us to families and explained how they made their produce, we tasted bamboo sticky rice, spring rolls and banana crisps and nibbles. The afternoon was spent visiting the swinging bridge, the original bamboo train, killing caves and bat cave. All along the way Mr Bun would stop and point out things of interest and talk about the local culture and communities. Full recommend this tour.

Highly recommend using Bun for this tour! His first hand experience made the tour unforgettable. Bun was polite and friendly and more importantly, a safe driver! The tour largely followed the program set out in the listing. And we did get a lot of nice snacks a long the way too. The tour does also include a 1hr break for lunch.
