Knowledgeable travel guide and a private ride to anywhere you want to go. And they don't mind if you need to grab something you need quick before the tour concludes.

We had the absolute best time on our private tour of Sitka, despite the rain! Met our guide, Kealoha, a local resident at the pier, right from the ship. We were escorted to her vehicle, which was comfortable and had a booster for our young son. Kealoha made the tour feel more personal and relaxed compared to the big bus tours. She shared stories about Sitka’s history, culture, and everyday life that we would not have likely learned otherwise, and also provided lunch recommendations which proved to be delicious. Highlights included breathtaking views along the shoreline, Bear Fortress, Raptor center, Totem museum and downtown. She was with us inside most centers and gave us detailed info on the animals and organizations. The coolest thing I recall was seeing a bear use sign language to communicate with one of the care rpoviders. There was plenty of flexibility to adjust the pace for our family, and the weather. I appreciated her giving us a heads up the day before of how to dress for comfort. Kealoha was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely proud to share her family's hometown with us. This tour gave us a deeper appreciation of Sitka, enough to consider work here. She was just the sweetest, showing us off-tour sites based on our discussions. We highly recommend this private tour to anyone looking for an authentic and kid-friendly way to explore Sitka!

Great tour of Sitka by local teacher-saw parts of Sitka we would have otherwise not seen. Learned quite a bit about the community. Highly recommend

First of all kealoha was probably the best tour person we have ever had! She was so accommodating and sweet! She knows Sitka so well and all our stops were fantastic! She knew everyone so that was a bonus! We went to the fortress of the bear, the raptor center, the national park to see the salmon and the totem poles and shopping! The day was the best! She truly loves this job! I can’t say enough good things about her and the tour! All 4 of us had the best time and it was because of her!!

Highly recommend this Tour. Kealoha was great from first contact and arranging our Tour to pick up at our desired location. She is a wonderful guide and even though our time was short in Port, she covered all the sites we were interested in. Don’t miss Fortress of the Bears or Raptor Centre. A great way to see beautiful Sitka!

With Kealoha as our guide, our private shore excursion in Sitka was fabulous! We would never have seen so much on a group tour. After an easy meet-up at the cruise terminal, Kealoha took us to see all that Sitka offers: beautiful scenery, history, and cultural attractions. We visited the Fortress of the Bear, the Alaska Raptor Center, the National Historic Park with its Tlinget totem poles, and the Baranof Castle, where Russia officially handed Alaska over the U.S. in 1867. We also visited the historic St. Michael’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral. She guided us to some shops that were of special interest to us. Kealoha was very friendly and accommodating, adapting the tour to our interests and pace. She shared her immense knowledge as a long-time resident of Sitka, and this made the day so interesting and enjoyable. By the time our tour was over, we felt like she was not just our tour guide, but a new friend. Highly recommended!

Very easy to find the tour guide. Gary was very knowledgeable about Sitka. We saw salmon jumping, went to Fortress of the Bears, Raptor Center, drove through downtown Sitka, etc. We had complimentary water and a salmon dip with crackers. It was very yummy. Definitely worth getting a private tour.
