Wheel chairs or mobility scooters that can fold should be able to fit in the trunk space. We do not have a wheelchair lift.

What To Expect
Starrigavan Recreation Area
Starrigavan Recreation Area, just north of Sitka, Alaska, is a nature lover's paradise. Here you'll find a beautiful estuary teeming with birdlife, perfect for observing on the quarter-mile boardwalk trail. We can hop on the Forest to Muskeg trail for a short hike through spruce-hemlock forest and muskeg on various trails, keeping an eye out for resident brown bears, eagles, and deer.
Fortress of the Bear
The drive to Fortress of the Bear is a scenic adventure! Trade charming downtown for breathtaking Alaskan scenery - mountains, wildlife, and a glimpse of the local ecosystem! Keep your eyes peeled. Once we arrive, learn about rescued brown and black bears. A must-see stop!

5.00This was the only Alaskan excursion that we booked through Viator on our cruise. The rest of our excursions were booked through the cruise ship. This one was by far one of the best! As a family of 6 it was a private tour for us and well worth the money spent! We had the flexibility to go wherever we wanted but we stuck to seeing the top sites. Michael was our tour guide and was very kind - helping us in and out of his suburban. Vehicle was top notch and comfy. Pick and and drop off was timed perfectly. Learned lots about Sitka and what it’s like to live there! I highly recommend taking this tour. You won’t be disappointed!
