It was well organized tour by Trip a Deal. From airport pick up to the hotel and travel by a comfortable bus in a small group of friendly people and the tour guide Lam was very caring .She explained about Cu chi tunnels very well and then took us to a villege and people were very wecoming ,entertained us with music and given a tasty lunch. We did not go on a speed boat but all the types of boats we went was very good .It was a memorable tour.

Over the years I have had the good fortune of meeting many excellent travel guides, however, once in a while you meet someone who is EXCEPTIONAL and that is Loi. Loi guided us through Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong. We could not be impressed by his professionalism, respect, enthusiasm, knowledge and love for his country and his work.He embodied all there is to love about Vietnam and its people. He took an interest in every member of the group and ensured our needs were met. In our case, we had some exceptional circumstances which required us to secure another visa to re-enter Vietnam. Loi exceeded the expectations of his role and enabled us to secure that visa at no extra cost for his services for which we were deeply grateful. We could not recommend Loi hihgly enough.

Our Cu Chi experience really started on the bus ride there. We were lucky to have the fabulous Lam as our guide and she shared with us some of the history that led up to the “American War.” Sharing this knowledge with us helped the group better understand what happened and why. Cu Chi was very busy when we got there but Lam managed to manoeuvre our group through so we had time to take the experience in. The tunnels were incredible, the shooting range was deafening. I have visited a few war battlefields around the world but Cu Chi gives the best insight into what actually happened. I 100 % recommend a visit and also recommend going with someone like Lam who can add so much more to your experience.
