As locals who love to eat, we've learned that Edinburgh has a huge amount of diversity to offer on the culinary front beyond just traditional dishes - we want to show it to you!

I (William) will be hosting you. I want to share my passion for eating in Edinburgh by showcasing hidden gems in the food industry while supporting local family businesses.

We've handpicked each dish based on personal favourites, while taking in mind the history and heritage of each location. We've spent the last year researching the tour, visiting our favourite locations and getting to know the owners and their stories.

There are a lot of hidden gems in Edinburgh that people don't know about and we've included dishes you wouldn't expect to eat in Scotland.

On this tour you'll be away from the tourist traps, with changing locations and dishes based on what's available in the city on that day.

Once we come to an end, we'll provide personal recommendations to help you make the most of your vacation!

One of the best tours we had in Edinburgh! Food was delicious and Will was awesome! So personable and knowledgeable. He was so accommodating. And the portions were more than generous. Definitely a five star for this tour. Who knew there was such delightful Asian cuisine in Scotland!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Edinburgh. This was a trip that my 12yo son had been wanting to do for 6 years. Will was amazing with him. He catered to his every culinary wish…including his inexplicable desire to try haggis! Surprisingly, my son loved it. The history and exploration of the city made this a great kick-off tour for our trip. Although we found every stop, and there were many, to be unique and delicious, by far the best part was supermarket sweep! I’ll let you figure out what that is when you come on this incredible tour! Thank you Will for making this tour so memorable. Cheers to you. Robert, Amanda and Pierce.

We recently took a good tour through Edinburgh and it was an unforgettable experience! Our tour guide, Will, made the day feel like we were out exploring the city with an old friend. He was incredibly friendly and down-to-earth, making everyone in the group feel welcome. Will was also fantastic with kids, keeping them engaged throughout the tour. If you’re looking for a relaxed, informative, unique and kid-friendly experience, this tour is a must!

We did this fantastic foodtour for my birthday. Will stepped in last minute as my original booking was cancelled only a few ours before. Let's say it might have been better anyway. The places we went were carefully chosen, the food we tried was special, absolutely tasty and more than enough. Will could always provide us details about the owner and the products. They even managed to get me a special sweet for my birthday on such short notice. Will and his partner are very friendly, easy going, attentive guides. We thank you and your partner so much for this experience.
