More than a third of my life in Hoi An has given me deep feelings and understanding about this land that was once the busiest commercial port in Vietnam.

Walk with me through the old streets, the houses dating back hundreds of years, the assembly halls that used to be the spiritual places of domestic and foreign merchants, or the Japanese-covered bridge to feel the mysterious beauty and deep charm over a hundred years of Hoi An.

Besides that, Hoi An in general, and the countryside in particular is an endless source of inspiration for thousands of tourists to visit every year. We started with the coconut boats and ended with local noodles with heritage and culture packed in between. Eric was interested, interesting and enthusiastic. It rained for most of the day but we enjoyed ourselves and visited local village industries and learned about the fusion of the cultures of Hoi An.

Did the walking tour of Hoi A with Eric he was such a great guide, we ate a lot and I learnt about the history of this remarkable place. I would recommend Eric to anyone wanting to eat your way around the back streets of Hoi An.
