Beautiful area--just breath-taking. Our guide Helen was informative, friendly and helpful. She made an already fun experience, more wonderful.

A short drive south of Greymouth is the Hokitaki Gorge and tree top walks. The gorge walk is spectacular plus with an immersive experience that’s truly wonderful and the tree top walk similar with an aerial view. Well hosted with the occasional commentary on the history of the area and recommended as a must see during a visit to Greymouth.

The Gorge is beautiful! But you don’t get a guided tour (you can do it by yourself). You have a person walk behind you and that is it. The treetop walk is only $30 and you get charged $184
