5.00We came in on a cruise ship and Kazu met us on-time at the port. He was a terrific tour guide, and spoke excellent English. We were traveling with my parents and our kids (so ages 73 to 8) and he kept everyone engaged and interested. The Kochi castle is very impressive and we went to a local restaurant for a very traditional lunch, which was fun and delicious. We also went to several Shinto shrines and the Chikurin-ji Temple. Kazu did an excellent job explaining how to approach both temples and shrines and the differences between Buddhism and Shintoism. He even gave the kids 5-yen coins for an offering at the Shinto shrines. He also allowed some time for us to do a bit of shopping on the tour. Kazu made sure to get us back to port on-time, as well. It was a great day in Kochi, and this was definitely a five star tour!

5.00The guide (Kazu-san) was cheerful, knowledgeable and kind. The views in the mountains were breathtaking and the history of both the island and Kochi city brought everything to life. Would certainly recommend for a private tour!!
