Myrdal Station

Nestled high in the dramatic mountains of western Norway, Myrdal is a breathtaking alpine destination that offers year-round serene natural beauty. Perched at 866 meters above sea level, this is charming mountain train station

Scenic walk from Myrdal to Vatnahalsen. This section can also be done by train at your own expense if you prefer (depending on train ticket availability)

Restore yourself with a delicious lunch at Vatnahalsen Hotel, a historic and charming mountain retreat perched high above the Aurlandsfjord. - Lunch not included in the price (200-300kr) This meal is not included in the price.

After meeting your guide, you will be given the E-bikes, safety equipment and safety instructions. Then, with your guide you shall embark on the scenic tour along the historic Navvie's road / the Rallarvegen.

We cycle for about three hours until we get to Finse.

Finse

Finse is a remote mountain village in Norway, nestled at 1,222 meters above sea level—home to the highest train station in Scandinavia. Accessible only by the scenic Bergen Railway, Finse is a gateway to breathtaking Arctic landscapes, glaciers, and hiking trails. Its unique location and harsh climate make it a popular site for Arctic exploration training, attracting researchers and adventurers. The area is also famous for its role in the filming of “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back”. We may have time to visit the Rallar Museum before catching the train back to Vatnahalsen.

We catch the train back to our base camp at Vatnahalsen.

Lunch at Vatnahalsen hotel. This meal is not included in the price (200-300kr). After the tour there are many available options from Vatnahalsen (catch a train back to Bergen or Oslo, make your stay longer by booking a night at the hotel, try the longest zipline in Scandinavia down to Flam and the Fjord.
