We are a group of friends from London who don't know Italy or its Roman history particularly well so we're so glad we took this tour. Our guide Rafaella was fantastic and was essential to us understanding what we were seeing in Pompeii. She led us around so many interesting sights including the forum, the food market, several villas, and made sure to recommend going on to see the amphitheatre and exhibition in the Palestra. This exhibition felt so much more accessible once we had gotten more context on the history of the site, and seeing the plaster cast bodies and the artefacts found alongside them was very profound. There was also a great cafe/restaurant with lots of options in the middle of the site, and water fountains all around. Truly an incredible experience, and we're so glad we had Rafaella to show us around!

It was just okay, there’s a lot that can be done to improve the experience, like providing umbrellas to cover from the sun. I mean I wouldn’t mind pay an extra fee for that.

Marco was an outstanding host: knowledgeable, willing to explain in a simple yet profound way, and friendly, which certainly does not hurt. We could have spent the rest of the day listening to the explanations. The place is wonderful, deserving of a career dedicated to it.

We did a tour of Pompeii with Nicoletta, which was one of our favorite experiences during our two week trip to Italy! She was incredibly knowledgeable, and I could not have imagined seeing the grounds without a guide. Nicoletta was incredibly intelligent and an amazing storyteller, which made the experience really informative and enjoyable. I cannot recommend enough!

Ciro gave a fantastic private tour around Pompeii, showing us highlights of the site and tailoring it to our interests (graffiti and the recent digs). It gave so much more depth having explanations, personal stories and being able to ask endless questions! Would definitely recommend this over any other type of tour of the site.

A very good experience. Pompeii is a wonder, but with the explanation from the archaeologist, it becomes much more enriching because you understand the city and put things into context. Everything was very well organized.

We visited Pompeii as a class trip, and Felicia made the entire experience absolutely unforgettable! Her enthusiasm was contagious from the second the tour started. Her knowledge about the history of Pompeii kept our whole class engaged and excited. We learned so much more than we ever could have from a textbook. If you are visiting Pompeii, you have to request Felicia, she truly made the trip!

Beautiful tour with the guide Eduardo who accompanied us through the wonders of Pompeii. I would recommend accompanying visitors to the exit at the end of the tour, as it is really easy to get lost.

Difficult to find meeting point. No clear signs but at last saw somebody with placate on his lap. Expected a bit more in depth archeological knowledge sharing. Pompeii in itself however amazing.

Had a great time exploring Pompeii! Sergio was our tour guide. Kept it very simple explaining all of the landmarks and Latin. The length was great and felt that I experience most of not all of Pompeii.
