What an amazing tour! So glad we did this rather than trying to figure things out on our own. Our guide, Anna Sorrento was brilliant, really captivating and made sure we saw all the most important bits then gave tips on what to see after the tour. It was really simple to find the tour guides at the beginning, you really can't miss the correct gate as it's right by the station and the tour operators were very helpful. Highly recommend taking this tour to get the best out of your visit

Our guide Nicoletta was great! She is clearly very knowledgeable about the site and history. This was the only tour we booked while staying in Italy and it was totally worth it. If we had seen the site without having anyone to explain it to us, it would’ve been a completely different experience.

There are several entrances. Please check where is the meeting point. Very interesting, good guide. You need several hours to visit Pompei. I recommend a guided tour.

Without Jolanta it would be abonded place with rocks all around us! With her as a auide everything get sence: every desert street, house, sign. We heard lot of interesting stories, data to remember. Good thing is that the tour is just as long as it should be. And of course it was a perfect time of the year to visit Pompei

Our experience with Askos Tours was disappointing, mainly because the organisation was outright chaotic. There seemed to have been serious misunderstandings inside the company, because one day before our tour we were asked via email if it had already taken place. In return, my query about how we were supposed to find or to recognise the guide wasn’t answered. As a consequence, we weren’t able to find our guide the next morning. After I complained via email, I was called an hour later and offered another tour on the same day. That tour, however, started only twenty minutes delayed. At the time, we were neither provided with an explanation nor given an apology for the aforementioned chaos. (Update: I was contacted by Askos Tours two days after publishing my review. I was given an apology and offered a full refund. That's why I improved the rating from two to three stars.)
