Explore St. John with a longtime resident! This private tour is conducted in a four-door Jeep Wrangler, so it is limited to four guests. (We do not go off-roading; I simply use a Jeep due to the island's steep roads.) I do not combine groups, so this tour will be tailored specifically for you & your group.
We will spend a considerable amount of time in the Virgin Islands National Park where we will sightsee, check out the beaches, historical sites & more. We will take a quick ride over to Coral Bay and will hopefully see some donkeys along the way. There is an opportunity to stop for cocktails at a tiki bar or the popular Windmill Bar, or even a little snack. I can also show you some secret spots where the sea turtles are commonly seen.

*If you are visiting from St. Thomas, you can take the 830am ferry for the 9am start time, and the noon ferry for the 1230pm start time.*

What To Expect
Virgin Islands National Park
You will sightsee as you travel through the Virgin Islands National Park. You will see famed beaches like Trunk Bay and Maho Bay. There is an option to stop at a tiki bar too.
Coral Bay
We will check out Coral Bay, the quieter side of St. John which has stunning views of the British Virgin Islands and beyond. You can choose to stop at Skinny Legs, Coral Bay's most popular restaurant, or do a little shopping.

5.00Jenn is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Our group of four had different ideas of what we wanted to do on St. John and she hit all the points. Her jeep was perfect and took us everywhere we wanted to go. We will be repeat customers.

Super Scenic St John Jeep Tour!!

5.00Yesterday we had the pleasure of taking a 1/2 day St John jeep tour with Jenn. She is an amazing guide - personable, knowledgeable, entertaining. We honestly felt like we were touring with a long time friend. The sites were gorgeous and enjoying a drink at the Windmill Bar looking at that view won’t soon be forgotten. St John is a paradise. We didn’t get to see the donkeys (they are wild and go where they please) but she was so thoughtful as to follow up later with a donkey photo she took enroute home. Some logistics - we were in port on the NCL Epic. In order to make the morning tour we had to be some of the 1st off the ship (not hard to do) and paid $135 for a private taxi to Redhook Ferry - about 20 min away. We were aiming for the 9am ferry but actually made the 8:30. Returning home we joined a group taxi for $15pp. Well worth the travel planning and happy we did it. We had pre-purchased ferry tickets each way which saved a little time. They can be used at any sailing that day. They scan your QR at the dock. Ferry staff was friendly. The ferry trip from St Thomas to St John took 15-20 minutes and was very smooth. They have indoor air conditioning. There is some shopping in the ferry dock area and other larger shopping areas an easy 10 minutes walk away. Jenn will show you. We will be back again and certainly will call on Jenn to show us more of this lovely island.

5.00Jenn was friendly and very informative about the local customs of the island that made further exploration on our own much easier. She told us which beaches and restaurants were good and where and how to park at the beaches and what to avoid on Cruise Ship days.

5.00We highly recommend this tour. We had planned to rent a Jeep for the day, but found this option instead — and so glad we did this. Jenn gave us a very informative and fun tour and taught us a lot about the history of the island and the areas we visited. She customized the tour to our interests and we had a blast!
