The meeting point is at the Wadi Rum Rest House. This is the first thing you will see on your right when you arrive. We can come to pick you up according to the tours. Wadi Rum Protected Area
Um Frouth Rock Bridge - First, we will ride our camel to Um Frouth which roughly takes around one hour from where the camel's starting point. The Um Frouth Rock Bridge is one of the most photographed places in Wadi Rum, this has a beautiful view along the valley, opposite the rock bridge on Mount Burdah. We will stop our camel here and then continue to hike by foot on a roughly 30 minute round-trip walk, including to the top, taking photographs and returning from where the camel was. Once we descend from the top, we will continue to ride a camel to the next viewpoint.

Um Sabatah - the second highlight are sunset viewpoint known as Um Sabatah. At sunset, our Wadi Rum pinnacles and canyons come alive in vivid golden and red colors. This is the best time to see the desert color change with the natural lights. Our guide will also prepare some Bedouin tea to savor while watching this golden hour descend slowly before returning back to camp. This stop will take 90 minute including the camel ride and sunset time.

Overnight at the campsite- Once the sunset ends, we will go back to the camp where you could wander around or relax in front of a bonfire with a cup of traditional homemade tea before indulging in a Bedouin dinner cooked under sand. After dinner, we will continue to sit in front of the bonfire while watching starry skies, sharing old stories and jokes. When ready, head to your Bedouin camp for a cozy night in the desert. It is a peaceful place surrounded by thousands of stars at night. In the morning, breakfast is served before you are transferred back to Wadi Rum Village where your tour ends.

First time riding a camel and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Clear night sky as well with hundreds of stars. Muhammad was a great guide!

The tour was overall nice and in a pleasant way not too touristy. Riding the camels through the desert was a special experience that I really enjoyed. The guide who accompanied me unfortunately did not speak English. On the one hand, that was a shame, because I would have liked to know more background. On the other hand, it also enabled me to feel the silence of the desert and the moment all within me, without distraction. What I liked less was that I felt the camels were not always quite comfortable. That touched me because I care very much about dealing with animals. The food was good, and at the end of the tour I met wonderful people from another tour. As a result, the tour had a nice mix of real experience and encounters without seeming too much like “mass tourism”.

Thank you so much for this dreamy experience. We had the chance to take a Camel ride in the morning. We visited really fascinating places in the Wadi Rum desert that are not accessible by car, but only with Camels. Many thanks to our Camel Master and our dear camel friends. Say hello to Bibo.
