My tour of Addis Ababa was absolutely fantastic! My guide, Saleamlak was knowledgeable, professional, and full of energy—bringing the city’s deep history, culture, and beauty to life en-route and at every stop. From the breathtaking views at Mount Entoto to the meeting Lucy and visit at the National Museum and the traditional coffee experience. Even though it was a Sunday we could still experience the amazing Merkato Market, every moment was rich with learning and joy. I left with a deeper appreciation for Ethiopia’s vibrant heritage and warm hospitality. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Addis Ababa! Once again thank you to Saleamlak and his dedicated driver Eshetu!

I had an incredible experience with Ethio Top Land Tours, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. My tour and driver, Eshetu and Tamerate, truly went above and beyond in every way. I booked the tour just two hours beforehand and was immediately contacted, which set the tone for how responsive and professional the company is. Communication was excellent from start to finish. It was clear, prompt, and reliable, making the entire experience completely stress-free. They were extremely knowledgeable about Ethiopian history, culture, and daily life, and their English was excellent, making everything easy to follow and engaging. I was able to see and experience so much of the culture in a very genuine and thoughtful way. Even on days when many businesses were closed, they went the extra mile to find me a SIM card, helped install it, and made sure everything was working so I could stay connected without any issues. The driving was smooth and safe, and the car was very comfortable. Throughout the tour, they were punctual, dependable, and clearly experienced, which added a strong sense of trust and reliability. The experience started beautifully with a traditional coffee-making and drinking ceremony, setting the tone for cultural immersion, and ended with witnessing the Epiphany / Timkat festival, which was unforgettable and deeply moving. The itinerary felt well-paced, flexible, and tailored rather than rushed or generic. Overall, the service provided was exceptional and offered excellent value for money. This was more than just a tour. It was a meaningful, well-organized cultural experience. I would highly recommend Ethio Top Land Tours to anyone visiting Ethiopia and looking for authenticity, professionalism, and genuine care.

I loved my day feeling like a local going to coffee shops seeing the market watching the views of the city from the view tops and of course seeing Lucy my ancient cousin but most importantly were my guide Lamesgn and my driver Eshetu who were like friends. I didn’t feel like a tourist at all it was a day as a local in Adis I strongly recommend

Everything just planned so well!!! Starting from a nice Arabica coffee in the morning, the shop with good vibe. And the Mercado to feel the local biggest street market. Don’t worry about security, they will protect you well. Also good explanation on the palace, seeing a military who fight for Italian soldiers in dozens years ago. Happy to end in the national museum - I know well we are all from Africa. Proud to share the trip with everyone.

On my way home from a family trip to Africa (with a boy in fourth grade), I was unable to transfer from Tanzania to Addis Ababa to Narita due to airline reasons, so I was rushed to stay overnight in Addis Ababa. We had 24 hours until the next night flight, so this would have to be a sightseeing trip in Addis Ababa! I decided to take this half-day sightseeing tour of the city after turning my troubles into something positive. Our tour guide, TAMRAT, lent us his umbrella when it started raining, wiped the windows of the car when it fogged up, was kind to the kids, very attentive to the details, and was a wonderful guide with a good explanation of the city and a nice smile! The most impressive and moving part of the city tour was seeing the fossils of Australopithecus in the National Museum and exploring Africa's largest market, Mercato Market. I was impressed because I never thought I would see so many real fossils in the birthplace of Homo sapiens. The Mercato market is so powerful it's been a while since I've been afraid! However, the guide guarded me well and I was able to go around with the elementary school students. That was a really valuable experience because it was a place you can't really experience. Thank you for an unexpected visit but a fun half day!!
