Nestled in the heart of the Hoàng Liên Sơn mountain range, Fansipan is renowned as the highest peak in Indochina, towering majestically at 3,143 meters above sea level. This iconic mountain stands as a proud symbol of the Northwest region of Vietnam, attracting adventurers and nature lovers alike. For avid trekkers, the ideal time to embark on a journey to Fansipan is during spring, from February to April. During this period, the landscape awakens with vibrant blossoms, transforming the mountains into a colorful paradise. The cool, crisp air is fragrant with the scent of blooming flowers, making for a romantic and invigorating trek. As summer rolls in, from May to July, Fansipan becomes a canvas painted with the bold hues of rhododendrons, ancient roses, and hydrangeas. This season's lush vegetation enhances the beauty of the trails, inviting adventurers to immerse themselves in the rich flora that thrives in the region. When autumn arrives, from August to October, the terraced rice fields surrounding Fansipan don a golden hue, resembling a vast natural tapestry. Winter, from November to January, brings a unique charm as the peak occasionally dons a blanket of cloudy.

The nicest people I have met! The tour was wonderful. I trekked all the way up to Fansipan and down. Highly recommended and I will definitely book with them again in the future.

I had such a incredible time with my tourguide Mang. He is so caring and he always made sure that I feel safe and comfortable. We had also a lot of good talks and laughs! The hike is really doable but physically demanding as everyone describes and it does get cold up to the base camp. Make sure to bring a head lamp, earplugs for the night and second tshirt! :)

Great overnight tour to the top of Mt Fansipan. Challenging but very doable walk. Great communication from organisers, they offered to store my luggage and picked me up from my hostel location in Sapa by motorbike to go the start the trek. My guide was very nice, spoke good English and paced the walk well. The accommodation is very basic but as expected half way up a mountain. Plenty food and drink provided. I am a solo female traveller and felt safe the whole time.

I booked this cute Homestay for my trekking trip. Great services, food and communication (I literally called them at 4am). The dorm rooms are clean, nice aromatic smell and decorations. A true adventurous vibe in general.

What a day! My guide was friendly with great English. The trek was tough in one day, so make sure you're fit. 2 days would of been better. The views were amazing and was even presented with a little certificate and medal for reaching the summit.

Saigonese Homestay provide me with everything I need for this trip, including logging, transportation assistance and local guide (before the trip), to food and massage recommendation (much needed after the hike!). Thanks Nina and Huang for the hospitality, I enjoyed my stay and the hike to Mount Fansipan.

It was only me and my girlfriend so, they let us go at our on pace. Guide was patient and helpful. Food although basic was very tasteful and sufficient. Only think I could complain is my low level of fitness. It seems easy and does starts easy but gets harder and harder alone the way.

My team and I have the opportunity to visit Sapa in February 2020. The group decided to conquer Fansipan peak, and contacted Saigonese Trekking Homestay SaPa to plan a climbing trip. The owner of Saigonese is very cute and kind, he prepares everything for us, our job is to prepare only personal items and a good health to be able to conquer Fansipan peak. We had a 2-days-1-night itinerary, exploring the majestic beauty of the mountain. With the enthusiastic guidance of the local tour guide hired by the owner Saigonese and the friendliness of the boss, we had a very interesting journey.
