Coupled with entering the Bodleian Library, this is has been designed as the ultimate Oxford experience, from the highest rated tour companies in Oxford.

In addition to this we will be entering another historic College at the University, various parts of the Bodleian Library, along with covering the most iconic sites of the University spread around the city centre.

An excellent introduction to Oxford. Our guide Thorstein had a great knowledge of history, which he presented in an engaging and entertaining manner. The self guided audio tour of Christ Church College was clear and comprehensive. The combination of guided and self-guided worked well.

I enjoyed this tour very much! Our tour guide in the green dino sweater was such a jolly chap, and he made it quite fun to learn all about the university. Loved his enthusiasm! I would recommend it to anyone coming and wanting to learn some great history and talk about Harry Potter and the Inklings.

My wife and I visited Oxford as a day trip from London. We booked this tour to get the most of our time and we weren't disappointed. Will, our guide, was great. As a graduate student he was able to not only give us history but also some insights into how the university worked and how students lived and interacted. Highly recommended - this longer (3 hour) tour is a great balance.

An outstanding experience! This was my third time visiting Oxford, but the first guided tour. Our tour guide, Will, was an experience in itself. His knowledge, rapport, and tidbits brought the city to life. Definitely recommend Footprints Tours. The viewpoints given by current students uncover daily life in an historic place. Five stars!

Will was a great guide with tons of inside knowledge and plenty of history facts! I truly believe had I had another guide I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much. As lovely as Oxford is, Will made the difference and rolled with the schedule working around exams.
