Building on from our standard Oxford University & City Tour (the single highest reviewed tour of Oxford) comes this extended version, which includes visiting multiple Colleges and guarantees entrance into Christ Church; allowing you to visit one of the most famous Colleges at Oxford University. Coupled with entering the Bodleian Library, this is has been designed as the ultimate Oxford experience, from the highest rated tour companies in Oxford.
Often mistaken for being the entire Oxford University, Christ Church is not only one of the largest colleges but certainly the most famous. From its links to royalty, and one of the most significant film sites for Harry Potter in England; make the best of your time in Oxford with this extended tour.
In addition to this we will be entering another historic College at the University, various parts of the Bodleian Library, along with covering the most iconic sites of the University spread around the city centre.

As Oxford University is a working institution, some sites may close without notice. In such rare cases, we’ll show you the best available alternatives, inform you of any major changes in advance, and offer a refund if needed.
At Christ Church, your guide will provide an in-depth external overview before you enter independently with a multimedia headset created by the Christ Church team.
During peak season (June–August), access to the Divinity School is extremely limited due to frequent closures and high demand, and may not be included in the tour. While some companies may claim otherwise, we prefer to be honest upfront rather than risk disappointment on the day. We will substitute this site with another College entrance, if not available on your day.
If you select Pickup option (the more expensive one) the meeting point will be the London address (Gloucester Road Tube Station), otherwise its the Oxford one (15 Broad Street, Oxford)

We had an outstanding three-hour walking tour of Oxford University with Riccardo. He recently completed his PhD in medieval history, and both his academic expertise and his experience as an Oxford student brought incredible depth and authenticity to the tour. His knowledge of the university’s medieval foundations, traditions, and evolution was fascinating. He didn’t just share facts — he provided context, perspective, and stories that made the history feel alive and relevant. We learned so much, and the three hours flew by. Riccardo was engaging, articulate, and clearly passionate about his subject. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a meaningful and memorable introduction to Oxford.

So i paid 70£ for 3 hour excursion. Spoiler: better go on a free walking tour for 2 hours and save 70£. So i paid 70£ and the only difference with free walking tour - i entered 2 colleges(entrance ticket is 5£ and another one for free). After 2 hours of walking (it started at 11am) and enterening 2 colleges i should wait 1 hour till Christ Church will open(at 2pm). So the tour guide just get us to this Christ Church, no information, nothing, guides are not allowed to enter it. Christ Church ticket includes audio guide. So i could just pay 12£ and enter the Christ Church by myself. My recommendation - go on free walking tour and buy by yourself tickets to Christ Church and colleges you want to visit. P.S: the tour guide was nice and it was interesting listen to him. But i still don't see difference with free walking tour.

I guess my opinion is slightly distorted, in that I was the only person on the tour. Effectively, it was a private tour and this in itseslf was excellent (for me, at least). I thoroughly enjoyed it. The young lady who guided me was very engaging and I enjoyed her personality and sense of humour. I certainly learned a lot from her, more than from two of my friends who actually studied in the city.
