What To Expect
Here you will interact with the Bahamian Rock Iguanas that call this small island home. This species of lizard can be found nowhere else in the world other than three small islands in Exuma.
Compass Cay
Compass Cay is famous for their nurse shark population that call this marina home. Here the nurse sharks are not shy, and welcome thousands of visitors per year. Some of the most Instagram worthy photos will happen at this stop while you take a swim in the clear water surrounded by nurse sharks!

5.00The crew on the boat were all amazing and helpful. They gave us history lessons along the ride and well as cracked jokes and made the day as fun as it could be. As a young couple this was 100% as must do activity for us and it exceeded our expectations. It’s worth every penny we spent! Boat rides to the different islands are a little lengthy but nothing to complain about at all! Overall great experience and we highly recommend born free!

5.00We booked a private day trip and had a fantastic day. The pigs were our least favourite bit of the day to our surprise. Our captain Winston and his colleague Deron were both very friendly, helpful and made sure we enjoyed our day. I would have no hesitation recommending Born Free.

5.00It was a good experience. The boat ride out to first island was a little rough but that was because it was windy. My favorite island was with the sharks! Joey, Celina,and Capt Keith were an awesome team!

5.00Captain Lee & his crew are very passionate about everyone's experience and safety! Best Excursion hands down don't hesitate, highly Recommend! We saw several Turtles, plenty of various tropical fish, kids loved the pigs and lunch was delicious!

5.00The cruise was a spectacular experience: we enjoyed excellent food, attentive and friendly service, and modern and spacious facilities that made the stay very comfortable. Although the pools remained almost always full, the variety of options on board compensated extensively. It is advisable to pay special attention to daily activities, as information is not always easy to find. In Nassau, the picturesque charm of the destination allowed us to tour its surroundings and embark on Rose Island, where we lived the unique experience of swimming with piglets. Undoubtedly, it was an unforgettable moment, accompanied by a splendid sea and quality care that completed a unique experience.

5.00An incredible day from start to finish. The guides were brilliant with ensuring everyone was comfortable and had enough drinks and snacks throughout. When we arrived at each location we had between 30 and 45 mins to swim and feed the animals. The shark experuwnce was amazing with us being the only boat there so it wasn’t over crowded. Our guide let us hold and get some amazing photos with the sharks. Lunch in a Bahamian restaurant was good. Ride out to the first stop (iguanas) was very choppy and there is a lot of travelling from one stop to the other on the boat. This was no issue for us, however if you aren’t a great traveller it’s worth keeping this in mind.

5.00We had the best day! Avis from Island Route’s (At Sandals) helped us get signed up and explained the day to us (she is amazing!). We had Captain Keogh and his crew, they were awesome! We got to feed iguanas, hold nurse sharks , pig island was our favorite! The day was so much fun, we got a lot of amazing pictures and memories that we will have forever! At the end, they took us to a sand bar that was unbelievably beautiful. Highly recommend!
