We are both teachers for several years and we love to discover new places and new experiences. We both studied in the States and now we permanently live in Cyprus. As Cypriots, we have had the privilege of being surrounded by culture, history, beaches, and of course good food. Our goal has always been to introduce our guests the ultimate, off-the-beaten-path food and cultural experiences. And that’s just what we do. EAT. WALK. EXPLORE. We lead individuals and small groups and specialize in interfaith and intercultural understanding. We can lead you on the specialized adventure of your choosing. Full day tour to Nicosia district, Machera Mountains and old city of Nicosia: visit an old women’s monastery of the 4th century, visit a traditional Cypriot village, lunch in a tavern or picnic in a nearby location (not included) and visit the old city of Nicosia through a walking tour of the buffer zone

5.00We spent two full days with Petria, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Petria was our guide and driver. She was incredibly accommodating. Each day was thoughtfully planned and perfectly paced. The selection of places and the experiences included were all excellent, from the historical sites and scenic stops to the coffee breaks, snack stops, and even the picnic lunch location. Furthermore, Petria’s suggestions for restaurants and local dishes gave us an even deeper appreciation of the culture. Cyprus is fascinating with a lot of interesting places to explore, but you need a local guide to experience its true beauty. FAB Private Customised Tours is the perfect choice. 5.00Great service with a fun and engaging way of telling about Cyprus and Larnaca. The tour guide led our 20 something group with humor, patience, quizzes and firm, professional style. Very able to adapt to the needs of the customer. The tour we got had a good balance of history, contemporary culture and insights to everyday life, ending to a true Greek-Cypriot taverna with lots of food, great music, dancing and great company with our tour guide leading us to a great evening.

5.00My husband and I engaged FAB Tours to customise a tour for us in Cyprus in July 2025. From the initial contact, communication was excellent and timely. The one negative review on here obviously did not go beyond the first email as it took us a few to get the perfect day planned with back and forth requests and suggestions to tailor a tour that would perfectly appease both the history buff husband and myself whilst being achievable in the time available, so I recommend ignore that one downer! Anyway, back to the main thing you want to read... why FAB are truly FAB! On the day, Petria (who will forever be known as Petria-mou in our home because we loved her!) was an amazing guide. She started the day with a recap of our planned adventure and an overview of the history (and mythology!) We visited both the itinerary stops and some extras, but never felt rushed or bored... just the right amount at each. Conversation was easy and relaxed; we felt like we had know her forever. Her insights into the people, the culture and the history were second-to-none. Even after the adventures, Petria followed up with some restaurant recommendations based on a conversation, reminded us of our new language learnings, and sent photos she had also taken of our adventures. It was such a wonderful day, with a fabulous and genuinely awesome guide. We will definitely look to do more next time we are there, and you should book a FAB tour too!

5.00Having Petria show you around Cyprus is like visiting a favorite cousin and having her show you around. Such a wonderful day! She gave us a great tour with local insights (who knew the bakeries were such a fantastic option?) and has keep knowledge of both the history and political situation. She also dropped us off at HER favorite fish and chips place for dinner after our day of touring! Did I mention her mom made Olive Loaf for our picnic lunch??? AMAZING. If you are looking for a great day tour covering a LOT of Cyprus, highly recommend Petria!!!

5.00The booking worked fine, email correspondence ahead of our tour were addressed to the point in our initial requests re. full day vs. half day tour option. Our family of four with adult children where met on time and place agreed, the transfer from Larnaka to Nicosia worked fine with interesting information and video snips, the walks in Nicosia proved to be even better: Our guide Petria came through clear and engaged and she readily answered any questions: She was truly interesting to listen to. We enjoyed and appreciated the history and backdrop of this divided city, and also comments of everyday life based on our questions and interest. Petria really shared that little extra during our short time together, to bring the history and stories to life and relevant to us, even leaving us with some tangible memories to taste and keep. She also shared some excellent tips on restaurants to dine in during our remaining stay in Larnaka. Thank you for being such a positive and lovely person, much appreciated! If the tour hadn't fallen on the holiday, we would have loved to be on the full day tour. Highly recommendable. 5.00The tour was amazing. Petria, our guide, was super friendly, highly professional and knowledgeable about Cyprus. Petria was also super helpful throughout the tour booking process and was very accommodating about what we wanted from the tour. We did a half-day tour of Nicoisa. This tour was a definite highlight of my visit to Cyprus. Petria is one of the best tour guides out there in Cyprus, if not the best. If you visit Cyprus, I highly recommend FAB Tours and Petria. I want to thank Petra once again for a great, memorable tour.
