Cesky Krumlov Castle
We begin at the top — literally. After arriving early (before the big crowds), we’ll park above the town and start a guided walk through the castle complex (exteriors), taking in sweeping views over the rooftops and the Vltava River bens as we descend gently along a cobbled path. From there, we’ll explore what were once three separate historic towns — Latrán, the Old Town, and the Jewish Quarter. Each has its own unique vibe, and we take the time to enjoy it all. This isn’t a checklist march — we move at a relaxed, easy-going pace, stopping for photos, stories, and local insights. Along the way, we’ll discover hidden gems most tours skip — from tucked-away viewpoints to charming artisan shops and quiet corners that feel miles away from the main square. Physical demand: Easy (well-maintained paths, walking down) 2-2.5 hours ● Guided walk
Cesky Krumlov
Once you’ve got your bearings, you’ll have at least 2 hours of free time to explore on your own. Whether you want to sip coffee by the river, hunt for local crafts, or just soak in the town’s magic, we’ve got you covered with insider tips. And because every traveler’s interest is different, your ticket includes entry to one museum of your choice. Some of the options: -️ Castle Museum & Tower - Egon Schiele Art Centrum - Monastery Museum - Regional Museum - Historic Photo Studio Note: opening times vary by season, and some museums are closed on Mondays. Your guide will help you choose the best available option on the day. When your free time comes to an end, we’ll meet at a convenient, pre-agreed spot near the center, so you won’t have to walk uphill again. Just relax — we’ll come pick you up by car. Physical demand: Easy ( Moderate if you choose to walk up the castle again)

It's also a must for time-pressed travelers, as you can visit two Czech World Heritage Sites in one day. You can also learn more about the history of Horašovice and Český Krumlov with the fun and detailed explanation of our guide Ondřej. I think you'll love the Czech Republic even more after the tour!

Ondřey made this day so special from the start. We felt so comfortable in the clean new car. His knowledge of both villages was deep and unique. The food and beer felt special. Even the free time was perfect. We were able to spend time with people (and animals!) that had spent their whole lives in these tiny villages. The museums are worth the visit alone. Two thumbs up!

We were greeted by Ondřej from CZECH OUT TOURS in a comfortable clean new Peugeot for the ride. He is so personable and informative. It could not have been a more enjoyable day. Lunch was great, the beer was fun, the sweets and coffee were sweet! He knew all the secrets which made the tour so easy to enjoy. He was also able to go the extra step to be flexible and help us with a personal issue that required extra time was able to handle more expeditiously for us. After Český Krumlov he drove us to the surprise UNESCO village and the museum there was the real special experience there- such a personable experience to meet the people that have lived there their entire lives. Ondřej was the perfect host for this full day. I would do this tour again and I highly recommend.

My husband and I had a beautiful and meaninful day knowing the castle and around. Besides the castle, the guide select interesting points in the center village as the monastery museum which mantain a space and carefully preserved. The guide took care to give us an unique experience including a visit in a nearby horse farm, where we knew a traditional horse creeder who shared some of his good life histories.

How AWESOME does it sound to - Step into a fairytale town of Český Krumlov— stroll through the castle grounds, explore quiet corners of the old town, and visit a peaceful countryside village.?? Well let me tell you .... Ondreg owner/ tour guide - extraordinare! You will be picked up at your hotel and whisked away to a quaint village. You literally feel as if you are walking through the pages of fairy tale. Ondreg is professional, thoughtful, charming, and engaging. He thinks of the big and little details that made the tour highly enjoyable. Ondreg paces the day, I never felt rushed. He asked my input. I especially appreciated that he brought snacks, umbrellas, and drove to pick us up so we did not have to back track up hill to the starting point. Be prepared for an authentic Czech pub experience. We also had coffee and a treat and tried Czech beer. Ondreg will not rush you and you will get to see a lot! This tour provides a perfect blend of historical activities, local food, and down time for shopping. My only regret is that I found him on my last day and could not participate in his other tours. Book this tour!

Booking this day trip to Český Krumlov with Ondrej was hands-down 🙌 the best decision we made during our time in the Czech Republic. I genuinely couldn’t recommend it more. We were initially unsure whether to visit on our own or go with a guided tour—but I’m so glad we chose this one. Ondrej made everything seamless: transportation (in a brand-new, super comfortable Peugeot van), well-timed stops, great snacks, and nonstop insights that kept us engaged and excited throughout the entire day. As soon as we arrived in Český Krumlov, we realized just how much we would’ve missed without a guide. The town, with its 12,000 residents and over 1.5 million annual visitors, is full of hidden corners, unique architecture, and fascinating stories. Thanks to Ondrej, we got the full picture. He pointed out places we never would have noticed, explained the architectural styles and historical context in a way that was both clear and captivating, and gave honest, thoughtful recommendations on where to eat—and where not to. What made this experience really stand out was how personal and relaxed it felt. Ondrej gave us plenty of time to explore independently after walking us through the must-see spots and helping us understand our options (for me the smoked beer brewery was sensational). There was no rush, no pressure—just the perfect balance of guidance and freedom. We were able to enjoy the town at our own pace, take stunning photos, and really soak in the atmosphere. One unexpected bonus? On the way back, Ondrej surprised us with a stop in a charming UNESCO-listed village, giving us a glimpse into traditional Czech rural life. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful day. Even though it started to rain Ondrej was ready with umbrellas for everyone. I’m especially happy we chose this tour because it matched exactly what we were looking for: free time to explore, authentic local food (without tourist traps), and a chance to discover the lesser-known stories behind the town’s beauty. Communication with Ondřej was fast, clear, and easy from the start, and everything we hoped for was delivered and more. If you're considering a trip to Český Krumlov—do yourself a favor and go with Ondřej. It’s informative, enjoyable, and incredibly well-organized. Truly a highlight of our trip. Thank you again, Ondřej!
